On June 7, 2019, fashion designer Christian Siriano tweeted this: https://twitter.com/csiriano/status/1137042422607831041
>Proud to be a gay designer! #HAPPYPRIDE everyone celebrating in DC this weekend! Canβt wait for this gown to come to life. Who will wear it???? π·π·π·π·π·π·π· #pride

When it was posted, people speculated it might be for Taylor, including in the main Taylor Swift sub. At the time, Todrick Hall was set to be performing at DC Pride and Taylor was spotted getting out of her private jet in New Jersey the day before.
Taylorβs makeup artist (Lorrie Turk) also liked the Instagram post about the dress.
7 rainbow emojis were also included in the tweet (although this could just be about the seven colors of the rainbow), and Christian himself liked a comment that said "π TAYLOR SWIFTπ" on the post.
A few months before, Christian was rumored to have a "secret project" coming up with Taylor. See this interview (Start around the 3 minute mark) or this article. As far as I know, nothing ever came out of this...
But then Billy Porter wore the dress on June 30th for the NYC WorldPride parade.
What makes me and others hesitate about accepting that it was originally for Billy, is that it includes panels on the dress that are meant to be "transparent" on the wearer's skin tone, and don't match Billy. You can see clearly here:

If this dress was designed for him, I'd hope that the designer would match the panels to Billy's skin tone. Also, this panel looks ripped in the above photo of Billy. Wrong size?
Additionally, the original sketches for the dress can be seen here, and similar designs here:

I'll leave this up for interpretation, and it may just be a standard model sketch, but it looks like it could be Taylor. Note that he's drawn her like this before:

... keep reading on reddit β‘(Manga/Anime Historia) : "How could I ever do such thing?!"
EREN'S ANSWERS :
(Manga Eren) : "If it's to much for you, i'll just erase your memories" [Eren proceeds to alter her memories, taking her freedom of knowledge]
(Anime Eren) : "You can, because you're the worst girl who saved me before. The worst girl in the world". [Historia understands and supports Eren's plan, including the 100% rumbling plan, choosing to side with Eren willingly, which is her freedom of choice, without Eren using his power to manipulate Historia]]
Hello all!
So, today I took an Uber and my driver and I got to talking when I found out he is Egyptian - he moved to the US at age 27 in 1994. I told him, that while I recognize it is quite different than his modern culture and I probably sound quite touristy I have a love for the culture of Ancient Egypt. As I soon found out, the man had quite a lot of national pride, so I had stumbled on a conversational topic he was quite keen on.
We jumped around various topics in our conversation, both topics related to Egypt and other topics. While discussing Ancient Egypt, my driver had a number of interesting opinions.
I) When discussing greywacke (the stone used in a few of Menkaureβs famous statues where heβs flanked by two goddesses) my driver mentioned that the only way to cut greywacke, I.e. to form the statue itself, is through an electric powered drill with a Diamond tip. He explained that this was due to how hard greywacke is. Aside from the absurdity of the βelectric drill with Diamond tipβ I was under the impression that greywacke was a rather soft stone (though I admit I am uncertain here).
II) When discussing the pyramids he mentioned that βmany people are wrongβ in their βassumptionβ that the pyramids are tombs for the pharaohs. The pyramids βin factβ are used to generate power. But they arenβt used to generate βjust anyβ type of power. No, according to my driver, the pyramids are used to the generate NUCLEAR POWER!!!
There were a few other comments but the above two highlight the absurdity of the conversation. On the one hand (and this is what I actually did) I just rolled with the punches and tried to pretend I was in some sort of stoner comedy featuring Seth Rogan and James Franco. On the other hand (and this is where my heart was) I was upset that someone could be that wrong - not only about something I am passionate about, but something he is passionate about (his country, itβs history and itβs successes).
For this reason I am asking two questions: what would you have done in my situation, I.e. how would you have handled this situation and second what is with the extreme prevalence of βAncient Aliensβ type theories lately. It seems more and more people are falling victim to that pseudoscience (though calling it βpseudoscienceβ is overly generous in my opinion).
Thank yβall for reading!
What I've noticed is that these concepts are often used as a smokescreen to deny that men face systemic and institutionalized sexism in society. They're used to implicitly blame everything on men for "being in charge of society", as if the supposed "men in charge" aren't just bending to the expectations of women (or gender norms) a lot of the time anyway (men trying to be "successful with women" may be what turns them into workaholics and CEOs, as one possible nuance here, which is a situation that may ultimately benefit women and harm men).
You get these people coming in to these conversations who say things like, "these problems are really just caused by the patriarchy and toxic masculinity".
It is reactionary and is used to detract from the issues that people are trying to discuss.
The irony is that in many ways it shuts down conversations when the whole idea behind toxic masculinity is supposed to be about letting men open up and talk about these things.
Men are contextualizing these problems as being sexist against them and, importantly, as being similar in magnitude as misogyny. And a lot of ("radical") feminists are trying to do damage control to reframe women as the ultimate victims of sexism in society, and men as the bad guys. As if it has to be some kind of competition.
They refuse to take a step back and acknowledge the problems that men deal with. They also refuse to acknowledge that these are systemic and institutional problems -- they are external, caused by society, with women and society being just as culpable, and just as responsible for fixing them, as men.
Blaming everything on the patriarchy and toxic masculinity is one of the strategies that they use to come in and shut down conversations, or at least attempt to reframe them in a manner that they're more comfortable with. Making it an example of reactionary, regressive rhetoric, that is restricting and shutting down conversations instead of helping solve things and contribute to progress in society.
I want to prepare myself for discussions with Q neighbors and be ready to notice contradictions; for example, βCovid isnβt realβ ... although ... βChina invented Covid to destroy the free worldβ
[Note: I posted this on the r/Qcasualties sub, but it didn't fit their guidelines. Someone suggested I post here instead.]
How would yall feel about the SH getting another new ship? I have a feeling like the ancient weapon ship (Pluton if I'm not mistaken) will come into play(obviously) . Personally I'd like to see an upgrade to the Tsunny and watch Usopp (brave captain of the sea) captain the ancient weapon ship and head the SH grandfleet into the final battle/ marine ford 2. How do yall feel about a new ship or do you think Tsunny will stay main one? I feel like replacing Tsunny would discount Franky a shit ton.
THIS IS JUST A THEORY.
Why does Deputy Judy have a teenage kid all of a sudden? No mention of a kid before- seemed like a single, young officer in Scream 4. Whatβs the point of her having a kid who is about 24-25 now? (aka born in 1996-1997). Think he is an OG killers son? Deputy Judy could be the new Mrs. Loomis in away. Maybe she wanted Dewey off her tail so thatβs why she was so nice to him. Named Wes too π
I've noticed in interviews that charming and likeable people, when interviewed, frequently use the person's name when responding to questions. Is anything happening when they do that?
When I speak to my friends I'll use the words "man, mate, dude" etc alot during the sentences but does using their name/addressing them directly have any impac?
Okay so I donβt remember what exactly was done during this process but it was an act on conversion therapy that was popular before Angel died and basically the βpain medsβ equivalent for it was PCP aka Angel dust aka the drug Angel canonically overdosed on killing him
I refuse to believe this was an accident it matches to well to be a bunch of coincidences also that just makes his death sadder because instead of overdosing because his life sucked he overdosed and died because of conversation therapy what make this more plausible is that his family was part of the mafia so heβd be embarrassed to have a gay son
I have some theories about toh, but none of my irl friends watch it. I just really want to start a positive discussion about some toh theories you guys might have and tell you about some of mine! :>
edit: i apologise for not being online in 3 days, the second covid vaccine hit me like a literal freight train. if i haven't replied to your comments, i will now!
So that scene with Katie and Greg. Something was off. Obviously off with him. Off with her. But anyways, back to my TINFOIL HAT THEORY. You know that thing in TV production where they style a woman's hair where one side (the side closest to the camera) is tucked behind the ear or pinned back? Well, do we think Katie was prepped that Greg would be coming and they would be having a serious conversation? Do you think Hair and Makeup kinda knew? Letβs not forget the BREAKUP BLUE she was wearing! They seemed so staged, like put in place. "Katie, you will sit here. Greg, here." If this was a real and raw moment, and Katie was truly reacting to her possible F1/endgame/real love leaving the whole damn show, wouldn't she be sitting next to him, trying to understand him, or have him understand where she was coming from? Something just felt so staged about that scene.
