Is anyone else having problems with explosives not making contact with the correct hitbox?

I was doing a rocket raid earlier and it blew up the second it exited the barrel when I was clear of any objects. Later that day I was c4ing a garage door and the c4 was floating midair and blew up without doing damage to the garage door.
