A list of puns related to "Coliving"
Does anyone have good resources / ideas for finding coliving setups around Zurich city? Myself, partner and baby would like to live with others (somewhat flexible on structure) but also fairly central. There seem to be some opportunities around but it is still not so straightforward. I may also be missing some info because wading through the German takes me some work :)
I live in Bolivia and I since I haven't seen many coliving spaces here I wanted to start my own. Is there a course that teaches me best ways to start and how to manage and grow a coliving space?
Has anyone done any coliving? I'm looking to do some traveling in 2022 while working remotely, just across the states, but after staying with a friend in a very communal-style home, I'm terrified of the loneliness that will come with hitting the road by myself.
Anybody have any reviews or experience with the Common coliving apartments in LA? Iβll be moving from texas to cali next spring. I work in TV production (Glendale/Burbank area) so iβm not making much ~ 48K a year so common is in my budget. Luckily my studio has been working remote this year so iβve been able to stay in Texas with my parents and stack almost 20k but i fear that might not be enough:(. I havenβt seen anyone talk about it in this community so I was hoping to get some insight.
I have heard of this concept of sharing a house with other digital nomads, like with WifiTribe for example. I just saw house of gucci and have the desire to live in an italian villa for a while without destroying my savings. Does anyone know if there is some group or company that is doing coliving in an italian villa?
Hi fellow nomads! I want to try a coliving setup -- mostly for the community after a year plus of mostly solo places. After doing a bit of research, Selina seems like a decent one to try, especially since I'm planning Latin America next. Seems like a lot of what I want to try, and, if I like it, it could make the next few months very easy.
Wondering if anybody has recommendations for which one to start with. I'm interested in any of the ones in Latin America and don't really care much where I start.
Also, any other tips on things I should look into related to coliving places are appreciated!

Hi, I am a practicing architect! I have some free time and want to create a coliving project. I think 5-6 families. I want to ask your opinion on this issue, what do you think should be there? What is very important? For example, I cannot decide whether it is necessary to have an office area. Should you make 5 refrigerators?
Do you need such a hostel at all? is it relevant in the modern world?
I imagine it as a place for the life of young people 20-35 years old
I will post the plans here, we will discuss them. I invite you to participate with advice and your experience.
I'm thinking about going to the outsite coliving in Fuerteventura for a short stint (two weeks)
Did anybody go there? And what are your experiences? It seems to be in the middle of nowhere
Hola reditturros,
Escucho experiencias.
Hi all. My cousin wants to move in by next month. Any tips for this kind of coliving space in Singapore?

What do u guys think?
Several months ago, we had some thefts in the common area of our coliving house. We suspected it was one of the people working for a cleaning service we use and brought it up to the property management company. Yesterday, some workers showed up and started installing a security system that includes cameras that record the indoor common areas. Some of us are uncomfortable with these areas being recorded for obvious reasons. We were given no notification that these cameras would be installed and are planning to ask the property managers to come up with a less invasive solution. Do we have any legal standing to ask that these cameras be removed or is there a resource where we can find out about such things? The building is technically an SRO if that is relevant.
Are there any alternatives to coliving.com for finding short term rentals with other nomads? Mostly looking in Europe and North Africa.
What do you use to find accommodation?
I want a mix of socialising in the evenings combined with a quiet and peaceful environment for work.
I think Iβve decided in Medellin for October. Any tips or suggestions on where to stay? I will be working remote so would like a place that accommodates that.
Thanks!
Iβve saved and invested while living at home the past year and now Iβd like to splash out for a month. Iβm open to anywhere in the world. Iβm looking for a coliving property that is fairly luxurious and situated in an area of natural beauty, peace and tranquility. I usually stay in airbnbs but Iβve been reading a lot about coliving communities and Iβd love to check one out. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hi all. Does anyone have experience or recommendations for working from towns or cities in the Balkans? Iβd like to avoid Serbia and Montenegro as I already know the countries quite well. Iβve got three weeks lined from the 18th august and would like to learn more about the Balkansβ history and culture while working remotely.
Bonus points if these places are Bitcoin friendly!
Has anyone in this sub had experiences renting a room from Common? I'm interested but skeptical, and would really like to hear from you!
I've been looking for cheap housing in DC as a grad student, and I came across the website for a company called Common. Common specializes in coliving spaces, so like renting out individual rooms in a unit that has a common living space and shared kitchen. The website looks professional and clean, and has a good amount of information about the company itself, so at least it has the appearance of being a legitimate business.
The first red flag is that they advertise multiple different price points for rooms in the same unit. This isn't inherently sketchy, since some rooms will be bigger and thus would reasonably cost a little more. When I tried to sign up for a tour of the cheaper rooms, the site said no tours were available. I just kind of figured they'd be selling my email or whatever and forgot about it.
Then, I got a call from someone who works for the company. This call was super weird, and she kept trying to ask me what my max budget was. I told her I tried to sign up for a tour based on the lowest price they advertised, so that was my budget. She told me that the lowest price they actually had was about $250/mo higher than that, but that when signing a 12 mo lease, they offered concessions that brought it back down closer to the lowest advertised price. She offered to schedule me for a tour, but insisted on putting my budget has higher on their form because, according to her, the agent who would be leading the virtual tour would cancel it if they saw a budget that was based on the concessions rather than the 'sticker price,' I guess you could say. She said they would do that because after the initial 12mo lease, they would no longer offer the same concessions and the price would be the sticker price. It felt to me like a classic bait and switch, but hey if I can save $2400+ over the course of the lease by working within their system, I'll do that.
I was still unsure about the whole deal, so I tried to google the company and see if it's a scam. I found some good reviews (could be paid for) and some bad reviews that seemed to confirm my suspicions, namely that they charge hidden fees that make rent much higher and that they pulled a bait and switch. I also found a vox article about the company, but that could also be sponsored content. Overall, I'm not really sure what to make of it all.
So yeah, if you hav
... keep reading on reddit β‘First time nomad here; I'm wondering if anybody is familiar with a coliving space anywhere in Europe in a ski resort, or near it. I'm searching all around but I can't find much info in English unfortunately.
Also if anybody wants to join in and spend the winter skiing and working feel free to join!

What do you think is more relevant than coliving and why? Maybe a small one-bedroom house, but with a study?
