Are there any written records or oral tradition from ancient peoples who inhabited modern day Korea, Manchuria, the far eastern parts of Russia, etc., that mention crossing the Bering strait or trading with the people who lived in modern day Alaska?
Iβm really curious whether there are old stories or perhaps written record, annals, etc. about this trading route. Question was inspired by this news piece https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/bronze-buckle-shows-trade-between-asia-and-north-america-180959378/

I was a victim of Hate crime for my sexuality. How do y'all think we can tackle it in our individual urban localities?
Hi folks.
This is a long post. I first want to narrate my story but the main point of this story is not just to sob over it. Rather create a discussion about how you think we could come up with a possible solution so others do not have to face the same tragedy.
Yesterday I was beaten up by PMPML workers in Pune on the side of the road. I was using a public toilet which is I think a known cruising spot. So I am scared to use those male urinals due to past traumas but since I was in a hurry and it was too late in the night (around 12:30)I went into the female side. There were 2 PMPML workers that guard the buses parked on that road and blocked the entrance while I was exiting. They started to question me coz they allegedly thought that I was trying to cruise. I told them I just wanted to use the restroom, apologized and asked them to let me go. I also asked them if they had any authority to question me about my using the woman's restroom and told me to leave me alone. They didn't let me so I pushed my way out and tried to get out of the situation. One of the person called another guy (his colleague) to apparently deal with me. I tried to run but I was chased down. I tried to defend myself by kicking one of them. Once the 3rd guy showed up they all slapped me from behind on me head, kicked me and started abusing. I have never felt so much helpless and could not defend myself. After they were done beating I was really angry coz I wanted to go the police. Then they were kind of making fun of shouting " go run fast or we will chase you down again."
I did go to the cops. They did bring those people to the station took them to a room. I was in the adjacent room and I only heard whacks as if they were being beaten. The other annoying thing that I knew I would face was all that the cops' moral policing about me being out at night after 12. As police business goes in India I was pressured to not lodge an fir and just log it in their register as some verbal give and take I had with them. But the most funniest and saddest thing was that the 3 people that were responsible for the physical abuse were justifying there actions to the cops by saying that eventually they were try to help the cops by keeping away these "disgraceful elements" like me (lol) away. (Away from their fictional Heteronormative world in their head...I guess)
The reason I narrate this story is that, its a very commonly heard experience in India that this kind of Hate crime happens around que
