A list of puns related to "Claremont (country house)"
While a lot of people say they are 'in it for the tech', many of us are here because Crypto seems to be the best way to get to home ownership in the next 10 years.
For people who saw their parents work and pay rent all their life, I'm sure they want a different life. They want to help their family and get to home ownership.
One of the best asset class, in terms of growth, which is outpacing the housing market is crypto.
While people take huge risks, I think BTC and ETH will get people to home ownership.
You'd think the State would regulate home ownership since people are hoarding houses, you'd think they'd try to free us from the leeches who are the landlord class. Yet they are far more bothered that you or me are trying to invest in Crypto.
In France Half of the housing market is owned by 3.5% of families so if someone wants to get a house they'd have to DCA seriously for the next 10 years at least.
So let's meet in 10 years for the wave of 'I bought my house thanks to crypto' wave of post!
Boyfriend of 4 years is choosing his mother over me and we are about to break up over it. I need help!
Background: I have been dating my bf for 4 years. 6 months ago, we purchased a home together. I have a teenage daughter who also lives with us. His mother moved out of state 10 years ago, but comes in town every 5 weeks for 7 days to do peopleβs hair because she used to own a salon where we live. When he had his own home, she stayed with him. Since we moved in together, she keeps saying I do things to push her away. Here is what she says that about:

sooo... I'm a little bit (really) upset right now that I didn't apply to pomona. I just learned today that pomona, harvey mudd, claremont mckenna, scripps, and pitzer are all LACs that basically share a campus, so they don't have that super-isolated, small school vibe kind of thing.
anyway!! just wanted to let juniors know. I really wish I'd known, definitely would've applied.

Letters of Recommendation
1st: My junior year English teacher, he was my Dorm head since Freshman year, and we were fairly close. I received great comments from him and he seemed happy to have me as a student. I do think I submitted quality work in his class, 8/10
2nd: My junior year math teacher, I was one of the only students in his class to attend office hours regularly as it was online school which likely gave me a bit of a boost. I showed attentiveness and even wrote him emails for the holidays and whatnot. 10/10
3rd: Research Organization head researcher, I attended every check-in meeting and worked with him with great attention. H
... keep reading on reddit β‘I bought Inferno last night and have received such amazing feedback here that it has motivated me to really jumpstart owning all of the relevant Claremont X books. Which are the absolute must have's? Which do I go for first, which are close to being out of print, which are coming back into print?
Loved it. I have always been a huge Xmen fan, but mainly through cartoons, video games, and a limited amount of the comics. Some of my quick thoughts on it.
Where should I go next? I will come back to finish up Claremont's run, but right now I want a break. I want to read the things that are both 1) Considered to be good a series, and 2) Considered to be Important runs, and 3) try to stay fairly in chronological order so I can follow what has been going on.
Right now I have just started off with X-Factor. I like that it brings back the originals (especially Iceman) and directly connects to the Phoenix Saga. I'm a little in the dark about who Madelyn Pryor is, but a quick google fixed that. Is there something big that I have skipped?
Thanks!
sorry for the huge wall of text. If you'd take a few minutes to read and give your opinion, I'd really appreciate it
In Finland we have compulsory military or civil service for people born with a dick. (In the governments words men)
When you turn 18 you are forced to decide, if you go to the military or civil service. If you choose neither you get 6 months of house arrest and if you break the rules of the house arrest you go to jail for 6months.
I was able to postpone my decision for 2 years for health reasons, but in 10months I must choose what to do. When you go to the civil service you work basically for free (under 10usd/day) for about a year. During this time the government pays your rent, but that's about it. Most of the civil service people work in libraries, elementary schools or in elderly care.
The military option is the minimum of 6months, but you can be forced to be there for a longer time tho this usually isn't the case if you don't want to be there any longer. The financial side is the same as with the civil service option. The military service is mostly propaganda and physical/combat training.
And house arrest is house arrest. You get an ancle monitor and a daily schedule is made for you which tells when you're allowed to go to the store etc. In my case I would also be allowed to go to the school.
I've thought about refusing to go to the military nor the civil service as a statement. But also 6months of house arrest/jail time isn't that nice of a deal.
In military I could maybe get some exercise and maybe even some useful skills, but I'd be complining in this system which breaks human rights and constitution by putting people in different positions based on their gender. If you were not assigned male at birth you don't have to do anything and you'll get no jail time etc.
Most of the people who go to the military are not leftists and spending 6months living with people like that would not be nice. They are often really vocal of their values and I personally refuse to be silent when someone expresses hateful/oppressing opinions, which basically means a constant state of conflict with me vs everyone else.
With civil service I'd probably go to some elementary school and be kinda an assistant for a teacher. I think I'd be able to make some kids think for themselves and question the norms. I have some visible political tattoos which would surely spark up some conversation with the kids. But also I haven't been around kids that age for

These ones are low priority for me as I am mainly interested in the Chris Claremont era, and the new Hickman era OHCs, but I know they have been very hard to come by in recent year. Are these likely to sell out and then be gone for a long time, or do you think I could get away with cancelling my pre-order and waiting until later next year? Are marvel a bit better at meeting demand. I tend to buy as soon as release so dont get a sense of how scarce they become.
