A list of puns related to "Chinese salami slicing strategy"
In the ever growing Globalist society, many nations have grown in the use of these two tactics (I will provide definitions below). How should we adapt to these new tactics?
Nearly all of the "experts" and commonly cited sources say that any invasion of Taiwan would be preceded by a huge troop build up on the Fujian coast, which could only launch in May or October due to big waves in the strait. This troop build up would surely be noticed and would give at least a few weeks, or even months, of warning about an imminent invasion.
In my opinion, the experts did not foresee that the CCP could use the same salami slicing approach to the troop build up as they have with all of their other political and military goals. Just like how they very gradually took over most of the south China sea. It seems to me like the CCP would deliberately avoid any short term, noticeable increase in invasion forces, because it would result in the US and Taiwan preparing for an imminent invasion.
Rather, their strategy will be to gradually deploy more forces around Taiwan (for example, the recent announcement that their aircraft carrier will be doing routine patrols around Taiwan). The goal of the CCP will be to have a sufficient level of naval and aircraft forces operating around Taiwan at all times, ready to attack and invade if given the order. As long as they maintain at least a 12 mile distance from the coast of Taiwan, they are technically not doing anything against international law. Cruise missiles launched from subs just outside of the territorial waters around Taipei and Keelung would have a flight time of about 2 to 3 minutes to reach the presidential office building.
I was making a nice snack, but my impatience betrayed my finger. Now im in bed with a cut finger but a belly full of delicious salami. Shoot your questions!
