Atmosphere:
We're trying to create a place where you aren't returning home to a bunch of strangers but to housemates who are friends. Occasionally, we have movie/tv nights if everyone's interests overlap for a new show. No parties or drugs.
Which is the better of the 2 for a tourist? I probably wonβt eat anything there but want to walk around and check it all out. Thank you.
Obviously, Flushing has great places, but Manhattan's Chinatown still exists, I live in the Village, and, as much as I love roaming around and exploring new restaurants, I'm not going to Flushing every time I want Chinese.
I've been to the popular places mentioned in the title, but Chinatown's a big area. What am I missing out on?
(One hitch: I'm not a seafood fan, and if my Japanese mom couldn't get me to like it, nobody else will either. So, meat/veggie dishes are what I'd be after. And dumplings too, of course.)
