A list of puns related to "Cheer Up (song)"
I turn Dad jokes into Campfire Skits. I teach Leadership skills to 12/13 year old Scouts so they can go back using these skills to their Scout Troop. The three day sometimes longer course ends with a campfire. So they can help setup and provide guidance during a their units campfire. The kids only know seem to know about the same 8- 10 skits. Many of them I learned as a Scout over 50 years ago. So at our end of course fire each small group ‘patrols’ have to come up with a song or cheer, and skit, as does the teaching staff. They often get stuck so I have examples to give them. I make my skits from these dad jokes. I try to do two or three each course. Now hopefully the older scout leaders have done a at least one at their troop’s camp out fire. Two or three times a year all the scouts from the area get together for a week end event which ends with a campfire. It does this old Eagle Scout’s heart good to see some of the skits that we taught the kids performed at this big campfire. If they got that out the course I hope took away other material too.
