A list of puns related to "Challenges in Islamic finance"
Does anyone here work in Islamic finance? If so how did you get into the field?
Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu (Islamic greeting- peace, mercy and blessings upon you all) and a G'day to all.
Mainly aimed at the Muslims on ausfinance but all welcome to contribute.
As Muslims we know that the taking and charging of interest is prohibited and considered one of the greatest sins in Islam.
With rising house prices in Australia and lower interest rates ballooning the prices of property, it seems almost impossible to purchase a house without interest.
Most Muslims in our communities are either doing the following.
What are the wise guys and gal's of Ausfinance doing?
Does anyone have any halal (permissible) solutions?
Are there any Islamic finance institutions that are legitimate and not simply a bank with an Islamic name thay charges interest?
Not looking at getting in to a theological debate but looking at trying to find solutions to alleviate the concerns of our communities and allow us to make
God bless and happy Friday to all.
If you are PM me

As a Muslim, I am very sad for the minority of Islam political leaders in Malaysia.
Islam is good, just the political leader is not good. Not all, some of them.
Some of them are more on talking than taking action. Speak louder than action.
I'm sorry for the non-Muslim in Malaysia.
If you want to be a truly Islam believer in Malaysia now, you have many challenges :
You need to remove your confusion & bias towards:
This doesn't mean we separate religion and leadership and becomes secular. Islam is there as guidance to guide us walking through the right path, not just in words, but in action. Islam is a way of life, not a tool to gain power.
A wise person, when he learning something, he purposefully learning something. He learns beneficial knowledge. And when he does learn it, he put it to use. He acted upon it.
> Being knowledgeable is not the same as being wise. Acting is not necessarily acting wisely.
My advice is always to learn Islamic knowledge from a Truly Islamic scholar who doesn't have all those biases. Make sure the scholar have high credentials in their knowledge.
Again, I'm sorry for the non-Muslim in Malaysia. Islam is much holy and beautiful than those bad people.
> note: We still have a good politician β. I love them π₯°. May God protect them from those monkeys and have great integrity in them.

At the time of writing this post, I do not have any bad intention to be racist or to fight/debate. I just want to clear up the current crisis.
I'm sorry for anyone who asks me some hard questions. I need to say that "I don't know". I'm sorry. π
Our religion teaches us to say "I don't know" in things that we don't know about. Put aside your opinion, ego, bias... and just say I don't know. But that is not an excuse to not gain knowledge from scholars. Lifelong learning.

I'm currently doing a degree in muamalat. I would like to know the difference between a degree in muamalat and a degree in islamic finance. I mean, why are they different?
Reason why i have trouble understanding this is because the job prospects for these two are virtually the same. I've tried googling the answer for a good month but the lines are still blurry. I looked up the subject that you learn in muamalat and the subjects that you learn in islamic finance and they are almost similar too.
It could also be the same thing with different language. I really dont know.
Id be happy if anyone can help clarify it for meππ
As Salamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu brothers and sisters. I've finally found a course I'd love to do but I'm not exactly sure about employment and opportunities. Would deeply appreciate it if anyone who's done MSc in islamic finance or any other course similar to islamic finance would explain me the places that would provide such opportunities. I've heard a great deal about it in the UK and I'm planning to do it from the UK Insha'Allah. My main reasons for not going for the generic finance courses is cause I want to avoid dealing in interest as much possible. JazakAllah Khairan
