A list of puns related to "Cerebral contusion"
Been a long time since I did my previous post about an almost forgotten unsolved case. Well, came back as I kept reading more unsolved cases from Japan (The Japanese Wikipedia shows a lengthy list), and brought a case that iirc was posted but with vague details. Decided to expand the case as there was a bit more info left out.
This time we move from the 90's to the 2000's in the Aichi prefecture in the Chubu region in Japan, which would be the witness of a terrible murder incident, known as "The Aichi Toyoake quadruple murder arson", which is a murder and arson case that occurred in Toyoake City, Aichi Prefecture on September 9, 2004. The suspect has not been arrested and the case is still unsolved.
Overview of the case
In the early hours of September 9, 2004, someone broke into a house in Kutsukake-cho, Toyoake City, Aichi Prefecture, killed a mother and her three children, and then set fire to the building. The murdered were the mother Riyo Kato (38 years old at the time), the eldest son Yuki (15 years old), the eldest daughter Rina (13 years old), and the second son Seigo (9 years old), whose birthday was the same day he was murdered. The father was not at home due to work and was unharmed. When the father called the mother to let her know about overworking around 11:00 p.m. the previous day, there was nothing out of the ordinary at the victim's house.
At around 4:25 a.m., a neighbor called emergency services (the fire was believed to have started after 4 a.m.). At first, it was thought to be a house fire with no incident, but due to the traces of kerosene sprinkled inside the house and traces of damage to the body, the Aichi Prefectural Police immediately switched their investigation to a murder-arson case.
The exact route of entry by the perpetrator is unknown. In addition to the front door and kitchen door (leading to the passage in front of the kitchen and bathroom), all the windows on the first floor were locked (some windows were deformed by the high heat and could not be checked), and the only window of the eldest son's room on the second floor had a screen door, so it was possible to enter through the garage. The key to the kitchen door was hidden in a designated place (a storage room) in the garage (the father had asked the mother to leave it there by mail because he came home late from work), but this key was found in the same place, and it is unclear whether the perpetrator used it to enter or leave the house.
The family had

Brain injuries occur due to a wide range of internal and external factors. In general, brain damage refers to significant, undiscriminating trauma-induced damage, while neurotoxicity typically refers to selective, chemically induced neuron damage.
A CT of the head years after a traumatic brain injury showing an empty space where the damage occurred, marked by the arrow. A common category with the greatest number of injuries is traumatic brain injury (TBI) following physical trauma or head injury from an outside source, and the term acquired brain injury (ABI) is used in appropriate circles to differentiate brain injuries occurring after birth from injury, from a genetic disorder, or from a congenital disorder. Primary and secondary brain injuries identify the processes involved, while focal and diffuse brain injury describe the severity and localization.
Recent research has demonstrated that neuroplasticity, which allows the brain to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life, provides for rearrangement of its workings. This allows the brain to compensate for injury and disease.
Signs and symptoms
Symptoms of brain injuries vary based on the severity of the injury or how much of the brain is affected. The three categories used for classifying the severity of brain injuries are mild, moderate or severe.
Symptoms of a mild brain injury include headaches, confusions, tinnitus, fatigue, changes in sleep patterns, mood or behavior. Other symptoms include trouble with memory, concentration, attention or thinking. Mental fatigue is a common debilitating experience and may not be linked by the patient to the original (minor) incident. Narcolepsy and sleep disorders are common misdiagnoses. Cognitive symptoms include confusion, aggressiveness, abnormal behavior, slurred speech, and coma or other disorders of consciousness. Physical symptoms include headaches that worsen or do not go away, vomiting or nausea, convulsions, abnormal dilation of the eyes, inability to awaken from sleep, weakness in extremities and loss of coordination.
Symptoms observed in children include changes in eating habits, persistent irritability or sadness, changes in attention, disrupted sleeping habits, or loss of interest in toys.
In cases of severe brain injuries, the likelihood of areas with permanent disability is great, including neurocognitive deficits, del

Could Dream actually kill Tommy with a potato? I just compiled a bunch of random notes but Iβm not like the smort people on here :β) so feel free to correct me or add on to the list.
-Dream punches Tommy 32 times -Multiple punches to the head can result in broken blood vessels, bruises and nerve damage. -A blow to the temple can be lethal -raw potatoβs are firm -Tommyβs mental state is frantic(angry and scared) as a week has past since initially visiting just to gain closer -Tommy clams that heβs getting Claustrophobia and begs for Sam to hurry(which can result in panic attacks) -Tommy has a freeze instinct near the end of his cannon life and doesnβt fight back(in shock?) -Tommy experiences stress hormones from the brain from the initial attack and panic. -A single blow to the head can theoretically kill someone if they were hit in the right spot with enough energy -Dream has been brought to anger from being with Tommy as he pushed his buttons(killed his cat, taunting him, spent a whole week with him in close confinement) -Dream doesnβt hold have near the end of Tommyβs last cannon life -Tommy has ran out of potatoes(aid) to recover -The trauma from the potato most likely couldnβt of penetrated Tommyβs head directly(right??)as itβs a blunt object and Dream wasnβt using a projectile of some sort to shoot the potato but rather his raw strength. -Tommy is 16 -Dream is 21 (I dunno if this matters but Iβm assuming it does) -Tommy may have gotten a concussion at the very least but most likely a cerebral contusion which is deadly as capillaries or blood vessels burst. This causes the brain to swell and builds up pressure in the skull. The symptoms include confusion, headaches, loss of consciousness, etc. The damage can be instantly or gradual depending on the severity of the injury. -Other variables such as the weight, velocity, shape, hardness, size, how much kinetic energy dreams potato punch has before it makes contact with Tommy are not distinct. -So..... yeah? The potential to kill someone with a potato is possible???
Also, Iβm just assuming that Dream would aim for the head cause to made the most logical reason to me ._.
Go post NSFW jokes somewhere else. If I can't tell my kids this joke, then it is not a DAD JOKE.
If you feel it's appropriate to share NSFW jokes with your kids, that's on you. But a real, true dad joke should work for anyone's kid.
Mods... If you exist... Please, stop this madness. Rule #6 should simply not allow NSFW or (wtf) NSFL tags. Also, remember that MINORS browse this subreddit too? Why put that in rule #6, then allow NSFW???
Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.
Thank you,
A Dad.
So far nobody has given me a straight answer

Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.
I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.
When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."
From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"
Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.
Edit: Thanks for all the awards, kind strangers! I'll let my son know y'all enjoyed his joke too!
