A list of puns related to "Cellular agriculture"
EDIT: That was so great, what amazing questions. So much depth! We're over for time but will poke through and answer stragglers for the remainder of the day. Thanks for the encouragement - we're so, so excited about what cell ag can do. You can also follow us on Twitter (tweets below!) THANK YOU!!!
New Harvest was founded in 2004 to support the development of cultured meat (AKA βlab-grown meatβ) and other cell culture-based foods. Our mission is to ensure cellular agriculture delivers on its promises to create a more equitable & sustainable food system by ending our dependence on animal agriculture. We fund public research and industry-wide initiatives to accelerate scientific breakthroughs and steward this tech toward making the world a better place.
**Who we are:**I (Isha) have been executive director of New Harvest since 2013. In 2015, I coined the term βcellular agricultureβ to describe this entire field of any and all agricultural products grown from cells instead of animals.
Hereβs my proof: https://twitter.com/IshaDatar/status/1450840042570616837?s=20
Iβll be joined by a crew of New Harvest researchers who are in the lab every day advancing the science behind cultured meat.
Soon to IPO lab-grown lab grown foods investment platform CULT Food Sciences $CULT has announced the establishment of a global cellular agriculture advisory board. The goal of the board will be to guide $CULTβs pursuit of defendable cellular agriculture-focused intellectual property, patents and royalty streams.
Given $CULTβs current success in finding investment companies in the cellular agriculture industry, I expect that the creation of this board will only accelerate the growth of their already impressive portfolio.
The company has a very diverse portfolio from honey to seafood and beef analogue producers. With a groundbreaking non-animal based growth medium currently being shipped to an asian based meats cultivator by their investee Biftek, I expect more announcements to come regarding the commercialization of their portfolio companies.
Rumour has it that $CULT is expected to IPO late this quarter so Iβm pretty excited to see what happens then.

The USDA will fund the development of the first-ever institute for Cellular Agriculture with $10M USD.
This first federally funded cellular agriculture-focused Institute is a huge milestone for the lab-grown meat field and further validates cellular agriculture technologies as the future of meat production.
This is great news for CULT Food Science which is an investing platform whose focus includes investing in and supporting budding cultivated meat companies.
It is likely that the research that this institute produces may aid some of CULT 's portfolio companies someday, by at the very least letting the public know that a non-profit goverment body supports the health, safety, and sustainability of lab-grown meat.
CULT is set to IPO on the CSE under the ticker $CULT.C / $CULT
Hi all! We are two guys from Amsterdam who are big cellular agriculture enthusiasts. We created the platform newfarm.io where you can find all sort of information (news, funding, how to invest etc.) on all of the different companies that produce cultivated products.
We have both been investing for a while and we try to keep track of all the news and developments regarding all cultivated products. Besides Reddit we could not find a good platform that creates an overview of all the current companies, news and information on how to invest. This is why we started newfarm.io.
This is our first version. For us it is especially important that you guys like it since our journey started here.
We plan on improving the content and the functions of the site in the upcoming months but we were eager to already share it with you all.
We mainly used news articles and the book "Moo's Law" from Jim Mellon (tip) for information.
Feedback is also very much appreciated.

There are two kinds of agricultural products derived from cell culture: acellular products and cellular products. Acellular products are made of organic molecules like proteins and fats and contain no cellular or living material in the final product. Cellular products are made of living or once-living cells. Products harvested from cell culture are exactly the same as those harvested from an animal; the only difference is how they are made.
Acellular animal-sourced foods (like milk) can be made without animals by using a microbe like yeast or bacteria. In the example of milk made with yeast, the yeast are altered by inserting into them the gene carrying the blueprints for casein, a milk protein. Since all cells read the same genetic code, the yeast, now carrying so-called recombinant DNA, makes casein identical to the casein cows make in their milk. Most cellular products exist in tissues. In cellular agriculture, tissues are made outside the body in a process called tissue engineering. Cells from a particular species and tissue type are assembled on a scaffold (to grow on) with serum (food for the cells to feed on while they grow) in an environment that promotes growth.
Today, tissue engineering is a relatively new scientific pursuit, with a focus on clinical applications such as growing skin for burn victims or organs for patients requiring organ transplantation. The focus is on the tissue having a biological function β in other words, the tissue-engineered organ needs to be able to work in a living person. While the science behind growing tissue for an organ transplant is similar to growing muscle tissue for food, both come with a set of very different considerations. For example, tissues for meat or leather do not need to work as an organ in someoneβs body. Instead, meat needs to have a particular nutritional value, mouthfeel, or taste. Leather needs to have a certain strength, texture, or softness. All cellular agriculture products need to be made affordably β that means producing tissues at a scale much larger than what is required for patients requiring organ transplants.
Compared to their conventional counterparts, cellular agriculture products have fewer environmental impacts, a safer, purer product, and a more consistent supply. This is because the product is being produced in safe, sterile, controlled conditions. Cellular agriculture has the ability to design and tune what you are making. For instance, you could make meat with fewer sat

Here is a breakdown of the new board members:
We should see CULT IPO before Q1 2022 under the ticker $CULT. They have been putting up impressive news lately so Iβm really looking forward to the announcement.
$CULT just announced the appointment of a new advisory board to guide the company in targeting and establishing defendable cellular agriculture-focused intellectual property, patents and royalty streams. You can read more about the board and its current members here:Β https://www.cultfoodscience.com/press-releases/cult-food-science-establishes-global-cellular-agriculture-advisory-board
getting this board together is a great move imo, research and proper intel is so important for any business before investing in new and innovative tech, and this advisory board will act as that safety net for $CULT in its endeavours.

Hi,
I'm positively interested in stocks related to food production and innovation in this field. I'm particulary interested in companies involved in the development of new technologies wich respond to the rising demand of "ecofriendly" and healthy sources of protein, fiber and diverse micronutrients asociated to wellbeing and longevity. In line with this, I have been investing in vertical farming (wich is going pretty well for now). Now I would like to increase my investment in the food sector with a stronger focus on traditional meat substitution. I have considered insect and seaweed/kelp derived food, but I am mostly interested in the field of Precision fermentation and Cellular Agriculture.
What is your op. about this type of food thechnology?
Do you know any growth stocks related to these fields?
Thank you in advance
David
It's just that simple.
We are committed to deploying capital into companies across the globe and assembling a team of world class scientific minds because we believe cell based foods will be transformative.β
Our current method of providing meat by having to raise cattle, results in an extremely high carbon tax (Etc.), $CULT is able counteract the old methods by creating cultured meat, that provides a beneficial healthy product to consumers and the planet we inhabit.
Instead of raising cattle, the animal cells are harvested, incubated, and grown in a bioreactor until they have real meat.
I learned this on $CULT βs twitter account when they shared this article about mogale meat a company in Africa that is developing an antelope cell bio bank. $CULT is poised to IPO soon so do not miss this wicked opportunity.
