Long has it lingered in the mind, but who is the greatest character in Succession? After such a brilliant finale on Sunday, and adrenaline still yet to crash, I quickly put together The Succession "Kittens and Perverts" Competition, to decide truly who is the best character after the 29th episode cannoned to black.

This is how it will work (skip straight to the bottom to find the poll if you can't be bothered to read):

We begin with the Group Stages - eight groups of six randomly drawn characters. By using the poll or through the comments (your votes will be counted manually), order those six characters in terms of personal preference; the top two after everyone's vote has been compiled will pass into the knockout stages, which start with the Round of 16.

Once again randomly drawn, a character that came second in their group will be faced with a character that came first in their group. Your votes will be counted in a new poll and post to decide which characters will pass into the Quarter Final. This'll follow the same format as the Round of 16, and be followed, of course, by the Semi Final and Grand Final - where two of our favourite characters insofar will fight to be r/SuccessionTV's number one boy in this entirely inconsequential "Kittens and Perverts" competition.

Hope you enjoy this little pastime I've mocked up here, and if people appear to have fun I'll be sure to bring it back for a second and possibly third rendition after the next seasons. Any feedback or ideas would be much appreciated.

Is he Canadian since Ewan and his mom live in Canada so did he grew up there before going to New York or what, we don't know what his relationship with his gay dad is like since he never talks about him and he's barley mentioned by anyone in the family except in season1 when Caroline said that he used to try and sleep with all the men in Sausalito, his mom is pretty much out of the picture despite being a Roy and since he's a Hirsch is he Jewish by any means or it's just his dad ?...also how old is he supposed to be like did he just graduate from collage or is he in his thirties like Nicholas Braun ? did he even go to college? I was hoping we get to know more about him in this season but his origin story remains vague.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Either Logan is the luckiest man alive, 24 hours away from being finished, but survives through the most fortuitous set of circumstances, OR he actually played a role in at least partially setting this up.

About 12 minutes into the episode Logan begins to start strategising and thinking out aloud to Marcia "It's not a good position I'm in, if they have financing and major shareholders, and I'm here... by tomorrow... by tomorrow I'll need all the things that I don't have". Then the scene cuts away.

So essentially Logan needs Ken by tomorrow, it's his only lifeline. But how? His son hates him at this point and is hellbent on going through with the hostile takeover. Logan is many things, but 2 things he must excel at to get into his position are strategising and thinking outside the box. He's clearly a Machiavellian character who has to be pulling the strings in almost every aspect of his life and business. So are we to believe that he was just twiddling his thumbs all night, doing a wedding speech and crossing his fingers hoping for the best, or would it be more in character for him to make something happen? Make a move, however unorthodox?

Later on in the episode Logan makes a scene when he shouts at the waiter over something very trivial. This sets it up so that the waiter can hang out at the back smoking weed for the rest of the evening. But the question is, who hangs out at the back of their workplace all evening after being dismissed? I think most people would go home and ring up their friends and tell anyone who will listen how much of a cunt "Rupert Murdoch" is.

If we jump back a couple of episodes, Logan asks Greg "the egg" Hirsch to keep an eye on Ken to make sure he doesn't do any drugs at the bachelor party. When they get to the party though, Ken repeatedly asks Greg to get Ketamine for him. And as we find out, poor young Greg was completely out of his depth when it came to stopping Ken (and even himself) from getting high.

So back to the finale, Logan asks Ken for an explanation for the takeover, Ken says he doesn't owe him anything and Logan replies "I blame myself, I spoiled you, and now you're fucked. You're nothing, you're curdled cream, maybe you should collect sports cars or something, but for the world? Nah, I'm sorry, you're just not made for it". I think the thing that Ken seeks more than anything else is his father's respect and approval, Logan knows this, so to essentially tell Ken he sees him as worthless in f

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
