A list of puns related to "Cantilever chair"
Hi /r/DIY, I need some advice on how to make my new chair (which I bought online) a bit less unusable. (Picture: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0044/1208/0217/products/OIBLAZEVISITCHRBLK_01_2000x.jpg?v=1599814948)
After the chair was delivered and assembled, I was dismayed to find that the seat is a good 3 inches below where I would have preferred it to be w.r.t. my writing desk.
I have asked the supplier for advice, but I don't think they will be of much help - they just mass manufacture furniture.
I would appreciate any advice on how to increase the height of this chair by 2-3 inches / 5-6 cm.
I have bought plastic chair risers measuring 3 inches in height, which I will need to fix underneath the supports, but I was wondering if there was another elegant method to go about it.
Thanks in advance.
My partner and I picked 6 of these up for 30 bucks a piece. The tags were either removed, or maybe covered. We're uncertain whether the seat bottoms were refinished or not. Reverse image search is suggesting Donghia, but I haven't been able to find other chairs with the solid flat bar foot, and the fully upholstered arms. Purchased from the estate of a former UNC-School of Design employee in Winston Salem NC. If you have any guesses let me know. Legs are brass plated steel (or some other metal).

Cantilever chair slowly bending backwards. Trying to unbend it hasn't really worked. I don't own the chair, it's the property of the student halls I'm in and I'm worried if I report it to the reception they'll fine me for it. Any ideas? The Chair
The title is vague but what i want to know is how load is distributed through a cantilever chair. Under what circumstances would a human fall over backwards or forward. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. For reference see- Mart stam's S43 chair. Link- S43 . Edit- I am not concerned about structural failures but want to know if i deliberately tried to bend over forward or backward with our legs up on the chair, when would i fall? Edit 2- Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to read and respond.
Does anyone know the best way that I could go about meshing this 3d solid model of a cantilever chair?
