A list of puns related to "CVS Health"
I have a fairly common health condition. The hoops that the system makes me go through β¦. Go see this specialist go get that test. Doctor retires new doctor makes me do it all over (charging a $fee every time) then says βhmm maybe letβs try this new drug and come back next month for a follow upβ when the old drug worked fine (more recurring $fees).
The Democrats had a majority is both houses and The White House in 2009 and again in 2021. No Medicare for all. No single payor. The pelosis of the world quite obviously donβt give a fuck about this. Do leftists just not ever get sick? Why do I constantly hear βone party is fighting for living wages, affordable housing & tuition, and healthcare for all and the other is a bunch of racist nazisβ when clearly they are not, else they would have gotten it already?
No β¦. Actually letβs fight for diversity equity and inclusion and raise taxes on the oppressive cisgender straight white man (my family is actually Spanish but w/e)
What can I expect you think?
Edit: CSI not CVS LMAO
Got a yearly health screening at my local CVS minute clinic. My LDL was on the high side...166....up from 135 last year. The physician at the Minute Clinic who did the test suggested I go see my regular doctor if I wanted statins prescribed. But my previous doctor retired and I currently have none. I could find another one, and go there. But for a general practitioner and family doctor, I want to choose wisely and take my time researching and finding a good one instead of just picking the first one I run across.
In the meantime, I would like to see if I can get statins prescribed and started on those. Since CVS did the test, would I be able to call them back and have them prescribe them to me, if I explain to them my situation with my old doctor? I know they can prescribe medicine because I have gotten medicine prescribed there when I was sick a few years back...

Fuck right off, CVS.
Intro
I do not own this stock, and this analysis is done simply for fun and food for thought. And this is my first stock analysis report, I hope to have some feedback from you guys, and to keep it short (~1000 words) and precise. The main purposes of this analysis is to find out how the brick and mortar retailers attempt to reverse the declining trend in their business, as well as to observe how growth can destroy value in a company.
CVS was originally known as the Consumer Value Stores; and when it grows larger, CVS no longer serves as a department store, instead, it is now better known as a retail pharmacy. Nevertheless, CVSβs operations are much broader than simply a brick-and-mortar retailer. In 2018, it acquired a fortune 500 health insurance company, Aetna, and further expanded its business as an integrated healthcare service provider. Up to this day, CVS operations can be broken down into 3 major segments, the retail/long term care, pharmacy service, and health insurance, making up of around 20%, 50%, and 30% of its revenue. I will briefly discuss each segment, analyze CVSβs current strategy to deliver continuous growth, and valuate this company at last.
Vertical Integration
Starting from the conclusion, we can see that CVS is trying to vertically integrate itself as a healthcare service provider. Recently, it announced a plan to close 900 stores in the coming 3 years and convert some into minute clinics. I consider this an attempt to reverse the irreversible trend of the decline in its retail business. As a retailer, CVS suffers from the diminishing return of expanding its stores. However, as a retail clinic chain, this scale of economy and the accessibility could be a strength, as the travel time and its opportunity cost are always barriers for people, especially in the rural area, to access to healthcare facility. By offering health insurance, healthcare service via its minute clinics, and OTC drugs for the patients, CVS could also build its own business ecosystem, improving its shrinking operating margin.
Retail/LTC segment
This segment includes not only consumer goods retail, but also OTC drugs, as well as vaccination and diagnostic tests services.
As we might notice from our own shopping behavior, the brick-and-mortar retailers not only face a huge challenge from e-commerce; this already mature industry is also facing challenges from higher operation cost, including wages and some recent supply chain disruptions. As repor
... keep reading on reddit β‘My little sister has been working for CVS for 5 months and is likely infected with covid (but it could be severe allergies as well ). She found out that she cannot take paid sick time since new employees with less than a year do not get paid sicktime. Sick employees with less than a year are required to take vacation. Despite not feeling well, she won't get tested and is still going to work because she needs a paycheck.
What kind of awful company is CVS not to offer paid sick time for employees right away? Even if this isn't Covid, she should be allowed to take paid sick time off after working there five months.
-------
She got tested: Negative. She has some other kind of long-term sickness going on. What a shame CVS doesn't allow new employees with less than a year to take paid sick time off, even after working 5 months full-time, unless it is covid. Guess what she's going to do? Tell CVS that she tested positive for COVID in order to get paid time off. I encouraged her not to do this, but I understand her reasoning since her employer is pretty scummy.
Figure I should get one before exam season starts up
I fill my prescriptions at Target and I have an account where I can see my prescriptions but my telephone number is no longer working at Target.
Iβm not sure how long but my CVS extracare card doesnβt look up by phone number either.
Iβve checked and my phone number is linked or maybe it isnβt? How can I fix it Iβve looked through the app.
Also my health records arenβt showing my recent vaccinations I got a month ago at a TargetCVS it stopped working in 2020. It has my 2020 flu from TargetCVS.
How long after you start @ CVS do you get to have their health insurance? I just got hired as remote and start 12/03/22. Thanks in advance!
I wish I was kidding
On Thursday, WebsitePlanet, together with researcher Jeremiah Fowler, revealed the discovery of an online database belonging to CVS Health. The database was not password-protected and had no form of authentication in place to prevent unauthorized entry.
Ever sense we went virtual things have went down hill ! People have been quiting left and right ,being told to not answer phones because we don't have time ! Pharmacist that worked with us 20 plus years quiting ! Coming into work fighting with customers everyday having to kick people out ! We are just so far behind! We have a cvs that is down town and they have been closing due to lack of staff so , not only are we 70 plus pages in the que and 20 plus in qt everyday were getting another stores work load ! And today I finally saw a strong Manager that has been with us for over 20 years crying in the backroom ! CVS enough is enough , ur low pay wages , ur lack of caring about the customers and staff is too much ! Many stores in our district are struggling and having to unplug their phones or closing drive thru do to lack of staff ! I used to love my job ! Been with the company for 4 years ! This is terrible!
I was a FS employee for multiple years.
Finally I left after the SM promised, per the DM, that I and another SS would receive either a promotion to asm or at the very least a raise. Both of us were red lined and I personally hadn't had a raise in the previous 2 pay raise cycles.
We were doing the concierge remodel and my SM convinced me to stay through that time frame, 3 months after annual assesments, as we would be promoted us then.
Of course nearing the end of the remodel I approach my SM about the promotion and he just casually says it's not happening. I immediately gave him my two weeks on the spot.
I recently caught up with a co worker who was still there and found out the other person also didn't get the promotion or raise. One of their most loyal co-workers who had had 2 heart attacks and been robbed twice while working on the night shift. Had been red lined for years.
Funny thing about the robberies is the SM was influenced by the LP manager to not approach the worker pre-emptively about time off right after the robbery. This worker, the loyal type, came back the very next night.
I still know all the names of all parties involved and I seriously considered taking up litigation against this company for unfair labor practices and discrimination, among other things.
The store, 24 hours, started getting robbed conveniently after they started scheduling only 1 person on the overnight. Also they started cutting budget to where there would be 2 or 1 person unloading 11 pallet trucks.
Slimy behavior all the way down in hindsight. This company is one of the most shit experiences I have ever had. I have years of dirt and this is just a excerpt from some of my FS experiences. The shitshow coming off the mistreatment of the pharmacy staff is an entire book series on its own.
Now that it's been about a year since I left everything in my life is doing better. I never really realized how much greener the grass can be. I am now in a luxurious job that has 4 day work weeks and things couldn't be better.
I seriously hope this company loses everything for their absolute complete disregard for their employees.
FUCK CVS
