Advice please. Bought a Barn Find 1966 convertible 289 with all of the anti-smog gear still fitted and a ‘71 Buick Gran Sport Stage 1 as part of a job lot a couple of days ago; this was in the Buick’s boot (trunk), but I think it’s for the Mustang.

96' Buick Gran Regal Sport, says low coolant but it's lying to me.
My Buick is my baby. It has a compass on the dashboard and a fist sized hole in the front bumper. It also has a lying problem. It tells me that it has low coolant, particularly when we have to idle for longer periods of time such as in traffic. I know for a fact that that is not true, as a mechanic mentioned to me once that it said I had low coolant but didn't (no solution offered though) and I have personally filled that puppy with as much coolant as the line on the coolant tank says it should have. Why is my baby all of a sudden developing a lying problem? I'm good to it (to a degree...) and it's hurtful. Please help us fix our relationship.
