A list of puns related to "Buick Regal"
Hey all, so I'm fortunate enough to have a garage to store my car in but I observed a water leak (from rain when I left it outside) from the very left back corner of the passenger foot well and have been trying to figure out where the source is. I haven't opened up the air vents to see if it came from there yet.
I can snap some pics but wanted to see if anyone had any advice for finding where the source of the leak may be. I have the hood off and have removed the metal windshield plate. There's no hint of it coming from the windshield area.
Hey everyone,
I have a project car that I would like to start working on but I'm probably overthinking how to remove the engine.
I don't have a plan for what I will swap in engine-wise, I know I'm doing a 4l80e so it might make the most sense to completely remove the front end of the car and pull the engine out.
What are your thoughts on this?
I took my car in for general maintenance and the day after it comes back the Stabilitrak light comes on.
Apparently the EBCM βneeds advisedβ.
This will cost 900 (1300 if something goes wrong with the brake line during the repair)
After debating flashing the ECM on my Buick, I finally pulled the trigger when Trifecta Performance had their Black Friday sale. I just did this last night so I don't have a lot of driving time with it yet. As for now I'll say that their service has gotten back to me promptly when I have emailed them, the annoying auto start/stop is now disabled (with the cruise control turned off - this was one of the emails I had to request more info about and was promptly replied to), and the tune overall feels like it should have been included in the car as a sport button. There is a noticeable acceleration improvement especially on the highway.
EDIT DAY 2:
First gear holds a little long, but shifting overall I would say has improved. Acceleration over 30mph or so is where it is most noticeable. Gas mileage is going to take a hit while I enjoy this new found power.
EDIT ~over a wek:
First gear holds longer than I'd like, but after about 30mph you really feel the HP gains. Still adjusting my driving style a bit for the tune, but all-in-all, I'm pretty happy with it.
Hi all,
I'm looking for a liftback, and going through the specs and features, both the Stinger and Regal GS have what I "need" while the Stinger has more "wants."
I wanted everyone's thoughts on these 2: I have a 2022 Stinger GT Elite (GT2) on order, came to 55k CAD and with 2% financing VS a 2018 Buick Regal GS that I saw with 50k km for 38k CAD. I've seen other used Regals and the price is around that (and 44k CAD for a 2020). All these prices include taxes/fees. I'd probably finance given the rates.
I like that the Buick is cheaper, but it's also quite old for that price. Could I get everyone's advice here on the 2 please?
Right now I'm considering the Buick Regal TourX because it's long and seems comfortable. I need a vehicle that I can drive in for long stretches and sleep in if necessary. I'm wondering if it will be able to handle some light snow on ski trips, so if anyone has experience please let me know.
I have a 2002 Buick regal. Last night, the instrument cluster kept cutting off. Tach, speed, etc all go to zero. Did it several times. My first thought was the harness was loose. The harness was tight, none of the wires looked bad and ohmed out.
My next thought is the computer, but the engine doesn't run rough when the gauges flip out.
What is the next bit of troubleshooting?
A truly terrible American car you probably inherited from your grandmother!
