I hope no one minds me posting about them here. I just thought Iβd mention them since part of the reason I respect and admire Em so much is his skill and delivery. Recently, Iβve found that I canβt help but think how the βmainstreamβ just slept on a great rap group. Granted, when I first heard of them, it was through movies and tv because that was all there was. After all this time though, Iβve added some of the groups songs and individual rappers songs. I havenβt heard a bad one yet. I canβt be the only one to noticeβthey have a bunch of albums, and Iβve listened and instantly become a fan of many of their songs on them. βThe crossroadsβ isnβt their only βgood songββlook them up and listen if you havenβt yet//tried to in awhile.
In Kanyeβs Drink Champs interview, he states that it is documented that Bone Thugs-n-Harmony was approached by the feds to make more music that would make people go to jail. I couldnβt find anything about it, but Kanye said it was well βdocumentedβ and can be βgoogledβ.
Hi, I want to know the last song Bone Thugs N' Harmony recorded together before splitting up, if anyone knows please tell me. Thanks in advance.
In a recent interview with DX,Β Flesh was discussing his forthcoming memoir when he touched on his struggles with addiction, which ultimately led to trouble with the law.
βBone Thugs-n-Harmony wanted to make it, but I had people coming around, bringing sherm or PCP or whatever the case may be,β he explains.Β βI tried it when I was in California by myself. When I went back home to get the rest of the Bone guys, it was dudes in the hood that knew we were on our way out to go try to do something big, so they were like, βYo, yo, smoke this stuff. Itβll help you. Itβs going to take your creativity to the next level."
βWhen we finally got with Eazy-E, he had his homeboys coming the studio while weβre trying to work,β he explains, recalling the time Bone Thugs connected with Ruthless Records back in 1993. βHe had his homeboys bringing the same shit, the same type of poison. Theyβd say, βYo, smoke this. Smoke this.β And thatβs what really knocked me off my square. While I was in there, really trying to focus on writing, he had his homies coming to the studio, feeding us that poison.Β We had guys knowing we were trying to make it somewhere in our lives, and these type of people kept coming around, feeding us this type of poison. And I feel that it took me off my square.β
