Machine Gun Kelly - Bloom Album Review
I like doin these reviews, I don't care if you care. There's a thin line between conventionalism and distinctness. People magnetize to originality, pureness, and uniqueness. The self destruction of an artist is the greatest entertainment in the world. The uplifting of that same entertainer isn't as much entertaining. My beginning opinion on mgk was that he was shallow and lacked any substance. I admit I haven't dug deep into his discography to be making that assumption. Basically the man seemed like talking, walking robot that was the created in a laboratory to attract the average hip hop listener. I hope mgk proves his worth, abilities, and talent on this album. At this moment I view the blandness and lack of appeal of Kelly to the taste of oatmeal.
The beat reminds me of Halle berry playing storm. This doesn't even sound like him. Where is this coming from. I'm fucking with this all the way around. Puff daddy may have something here. White wiz doesn't make sense anymore. Was that lil jon adlip in first verse. I haven't felt this aggressiveness in the first song since oxymoron. I got daughters and mothers tryna fuck with the gunna. Score: 9.3
I honestly didn't even wanna move to this song because of how depressing it'll be if this album flops in artistry after the excellent first song. Twisting another gram Fucking I'm late to work again reminded me of myself because of my (old) ways. Don't judge. The rock n roll influence on this song is great. I'm feeling this song more then the last one. The hook almost sound slightly like dj Paul. Score: 9.5
U gotta snap your fingers for this one. I like mgk now but this radio friendly songs I'm not really into. I fucking hate this hook. Score: 4
Awfully sounds like yelawolf. I actually can dig this radio friendly hook. I wish he sinked deeper into the root of this song. This deserves a third verse. I hate when singers are singing his hooks. Second time listening to this I can't stand the hook and find it very annoying. Life is about making mistakes and trying to be great. Score: 6.3
I honestly lost my interest for this song real quick. Not very artistic hook. I could careless what mgk is saying on the verses. Score: 5
Was this beat originally meant for juicy j. This is what I'm talking about. Rockstars never say no. The beat and the piano on this is so raw. For very limited

I share it on youtube because I think others would like to use it for the same thing as well. Machine Gun Kelly's Sex Drive from hotel diablo inspired me a lot. I did it my way, but I drew a lot from that song. I am not afraid to admit it tho.
I hope you like this. I am trynna get better with my music every day.

I've heard people say that his next album is confirmed to be a rap album and that the pop punk stuff was just a temporary thing. Again, this is what I've heard

Here we go
Punk is in my veins. Come on, Iβm from New Jersey, we have the most punk per capita. Itβs true. Tik Tok told me so. Not only did the Tik Tok tell me it, Iβve experienced it. Shout out to Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ, shout out to basement shows in New Brunswick, shout out to the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market, shout out to shows at bowling alleys and my friends being billed higher than modern pop punk heroes such as The Front Bottoms.
So to tell you the truth when I heard that Machine Gun Kelly was going to drop a pop punk project I had to laugh a little. I had to think βThis skinny mother fucker who tried to pick a fight with Eminem? That dude? That guy is gonna do pop punk? Itβs gonna suck. And itβs gonna suck hard.β
My second though was, well what kind of pop punk? Modern pop punk sounds a lot different than the stuff I grew up
