A list of puns related to "Blake Griffin"
>Austin Rivers on his IG live right now: "You should've seen the Nets team that we were playing tonight. Patty Mills, Blake Griffin, Cam Thomas were the only ones we knew."
>"I was guarding anonymous" ... Lol. Austin's going off.
>[Wojnarowski] The Denver-Brooklyn game today has been postponed, sources tell ESPN.

Looks like Blake hasnβt forgotten about the situation himself had with Stewart some days ago. Blake thinks he is a fake tough guy. This league is petty lol.

>Walker maintained his professionalism throughout the season but his health issues, the teamβs poor performance and boos from TD Garden fans β something that particularly βpissed him off,β according to multiple sources β made him sour on his situation in Boston and had spoken privately about being willing to move to a new team. It had become clear he was not going to be in the teamβs long-term plans.
> According to multiple team sources, there was some dysfunction in the locker room, with the relationship between Stevens and Walker characterized as tension-filled. Sources also suggest that Stevens was also perceived to be harder on Walker than on other top players.
> The Celtics' dysfunction reached the point that Blake Griffin asked a friend on the roster if he should sign midseason & was warned to stay away, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA.
> This came in the wake of Gordon Haywardβs departure, after which sources said Hayward told Stevens he needed to establish a stronger voice with players if they were going to win.
> Several team sources felt Stevens was more aggressive with certain players this season, which included Walker who was criticized for his defensive mistakes. Those sources said Walker and Stevens began to butt heads, though the pair were considered to have a productive working relationship and mutual respect for one another.
> βAt seasonβs end, multiple sources close to the players said several members of the locker room were welcoming a coaching change, noting Stevens did not appear to hold key players accountable, with complaints he was favoring Smart over others,β

Blake recently fell out of the Nets rotation in favor of LaMarcus Aldridge
>Blake Griffin said he has spoken with DeAndre Jordan about falling out of the Nets rotation and that Jordan gave him advice on how to deal with not being in rotation.
>Blake Griffin wants to play but said he understands how good LaMarcus Aldridge is playing and how his own 3-point shooting has to improve.
Second question, who is the worst player that Scottie ends up being where youβre not disappointed? Not necessarily taking playstyle into account, moreso accolades/talent level
His shooting splits have fallen off a cliff, for the Nets regular season, last year he was scoring on 49/38/78. The playoffs he was on 53/39/71. This year so far heβs on 33/16/69. Did he fall off that much of a cliff or does he just have to play himself back?

The dude is a legit good comedic actor. Just watch just about any of his commercials, and you can tell he's just not another athlete who can barely read a script. He's been in a couple movies before, and had his own reality prank show... For like a day.
But I think once he retires, he'd be perfect to star in his own sitcom. A fictionalized version of himself, where he's adjusting to life without basketball and finding things to do with his life. Surround him with a cast of proven TV actors like Wayne Knight or Nina Dobrev (absolutely random, I know, stay with me here). Also, it's gotta be single camera, no laugh track BS.
Idk, I think it could work. Seems like streaming services these days will greenlight just about anything lol.
With Blake coming off the books next year, we will be one of only a handful of teams to have Max contract type money to play with. It is to my understanding that if we were to sign a bigger name free agent, it would have to be either this off-season or the next before any of our youths rookie deals end.
Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of options with big name free agents this off-season to spend that money on. Do we try and throw a max deal to someone like Miles Bridges although he is restricted? Would someone like Lavine be willing to leave Chicago to come here? Do we sign role players with that money instead of getting a star here and relying on drafting? Or do we wait until the following off-season to try and get a star? If so, who do you want to see us go for?
What about drafting? Although it's very early, who would you like to see us draft this off-season if we were to get another high pick? Banchero? Chet? Say we don't sign a big name free agent this off-season and we get a 2023 high lottery pick, who would ya'll want? Emoni Bates?

Prime Blake Griffin or Prime Draymond Green?
Two question:
Who was the better player?
Who would you rather have on your team right now?
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzxzxzzzz
>"I understand from a business point of view... They wanted to win a championship and they didn't think they could with me there. We just wish it had gone about in a different way.. like the respect of letting an agent know so that both parties can workout a deal that is mutually beneficial."
>
>"A friend called me and told me [the trade was going down]. My agent called [the GM] and he didn't pick up. My agent told me that that's weird, normally he picks up every time."
>
>"I had to go into the facility that morning to do a lift and I called the GM myself as well and no response, nothing in return. After about an hour and a half later, I figured I would just go up there to his office and check. I went up there to his assistant and asked if he was in there and he told me that he was in a meeting. I told him that I wanted to talk to him and he goes in there and [the GM] comes out a bit later."
>
>"I told him I just want to know what's going on and he starts with the 'a player of your caliber' and I was like don't.. I don't need all that, I just want to know. And he was like, you'll be the first call, and I was like alright, I appreciate it."
>
>"Later that day, I was driving home, went to pick up my kids and I saw Woj's tweet that says the Clippers and Pistons are finalizing a deal."

Idk why I wanted to post this but just thought it was something worth of note.
In 2015, FiveThirtyEight published a ranking of the 53 best franchise prospects in the NBA going forward.
Elfrid Payton ranked at #14 on the list.
#15? Blake Griffin coming off an All-Star year.
Also lower on the list, Bradley Beal, Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, Rudy Gobert, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Klay Thompson and...coming in last at #53 ... Joel Embiid.
In fairness, they did say that Embiid had been injured, and if he had been healthy he would rank as high as #26.
This isn't to bash advanced stats, I like them a lot, I just thought sometimes these models can produce interesting results.
Blake Griffin spoke today about falling out of the rotation.
Griffin says he understands, and he tries to stay professional.
Griffin said DeAndre Jordan set an example when he fell out of the rotation last season, and they talked recently, with Jordan giving him advice.
In addition, Griffin said he wants to play, but he knows lamarcus Aldridge is playing well and he needs to improve his 3-point shooting.
