The author once said he wishes to stretch BC as far as One Piece (or atleast in a comparble magnitude) but I fail to see how he would do that. Devils(other worldly entitites) have been introduced already, past civilisation(elfs) also used, all main kingdoms almost explored(almost dissapointing), even time skip has already been used and in comparison with that, One piece has a gigantic and ever exapnding universe along a plotline and pacing honed to perfection with an end nowhere in sight and unlimited amount of content left to explore.
How do you think BC would match up? Exploring Yami's homeland? if that is the case then it would almost be necessary that the characters in that arc would surpass supreme devils as well. It would be just hard to digest.

My list goes like this:
- Secre Swallowtail - Cope Noelle fans, cope! (evil laughs in background)
- Mimosa Vermillion - Absolutely 100% not because of them boobies
- Dorothy Unsworth - She is adorable and cheerful she is like the type of person a lot will love to be with in real life
- Noelle Silva - Lot of people would want to put her higher but in my defense all I have to say is that, it's the anime's fault that exaggerate they her tsundare to the point it was a bit annoying
- Charlotte Roselei - Same reason as Noelle
I started it when the show ended back in the beginning of 2021.
I remember hearing a lot of good things about the series when it ended and that while it was bad at first the anime just kept getting better and better. I took it on myself to see if it was actually true and hence started the journey.
The series had many problems with the main 2 being the animation and asta's constant annoying ear damaging scream. But what kept the series alive for me was the concept and the story.
The story at first wasn't excellent, it had some issues but it was good enough to keep me entertained.
Then about 40 episodes in and I dropped the series, I just didn't find the series watchable anymore. While asta's screaming had reduced the animation quality was still bad and the story was just getting generic in my opinion.
I just thought the show was boring and I left it and didn't think I would continue.
fast forward a few months and the 2nd movie visual of black clover had dropped around the end of the year 2021 and for some reason I thought "you know what, why not give it a second chance".
And just like that I started where I left off and at first I thought nothing much had changed. The series was pretty much still the same......until the witch arc, from there on out the series started getting interesting.
The fight scenes and animation were actually improving and the story was also getting unexpected at times. By the time I reached the tournament arc I was completely hooked to the series.
While the animation was not god tier it was certainly becoming better, same for the story and the diverse cast of characters. But I think there is one defining moment where the show actually became amazing and that was the elves arc.
Ever since the beginning of that arc the show just kept getting better and better. It went from being good to extraordinary to FUCKING LEGENDARY whit the main reason in my opinion being the story and the world building.
Heck, I'm gonna go all out and say that black clover probably had one of the best stories and world building for a shonen I had ever seen.
By the time I ended the show I had realized how terribly wrong I was. The show was certainly bad at the beginning but if you can bear it for a while you will surely find gold by the end.
If you have read this far and think you have enough time to watch a long series I strongly recommend watching black clover.

- Zenon (prev I had luck in this spot) - The dude was the first person to scare my previous 3rd most badass character (Luck) and he clapped the entire golden dawn all alone >!also even though lot of other ppl hated it, but I personally really enjoyed his backstory and fight with Yuno, he isn't just a strong character with just really dripy moves but a strong character with sad past!<
- >!Lucifero - If tabata gives him a proper backstory about why he acts like the way he does and a bit of insights into his main motives, he will most certainly become the most badass character in my book, he literally flattened all the captains with just a single finger that gotta be the most badass thing in the bc verse when the anime reaches there!<

edit : actually I read the latest chapter after I made the post and asta was pretty dope in that so I will put asta in number 5
I get emotionally attached to some shows and maybe movies I watch and black clover is one of those shows. Thinking about it (and the others shows) makes me happy.
