Closed docs with SBA loan # and legacy bank loan # and funding date of 4/17 on loan docs on Tuesday (4/14). Funded today 4/17 at 8:47 am. Free business checking! They actually call you by first name when you walk in the door they remember you. They also call you directly historically when and if there is ever any issue regarding a deposit immediately. It’s like you’re their only customer. Highly recommend if your business is in S. Florida. Only few branches between broward and PB county but worth it big time! I also applied through Cross River Bank on day one April 3, was told by them to redo app on new platform on April 8. That made me nervous and I called my local bank (since they didn’t have any info on their website I had assumed they were not participating originally) my bank informed me they were participating and would email me a link to apply. Never heard a word back from Cross River. Total failure there! Thank god for banks like Legacy Bank of Florida, not to be confused with Legacy Bank.
I spent 4 days at a hospital in the big city where I live right before Thanksgiving. (Got home the night before and cooked the turkey for my daughter. Original Plan) In the emergency I was told as soon as the lab work was done was in kidney failure (I was dehydrated from exhaustion and that is a whole other story not needed here) Every single person from the ER Doc to ALLLLLLLLLLL the nurses and aids. To the guy who came and cleaned my room every morning, to the doctors who came in and updated me on what was happening. The people who made and brought me food every day and everyone I came in contact with used proper PPE and taking off the dressings, gloves, masks and placing them in the bin in my room.

Everyone was friendly and kept me updated on my condition. I was given so many bags of fluid I felt i was swimming when I left. I understand having a few family members (grandmother, mom, aunt and her 3 sons) how hard all these people work. I appreciated each and every one of the people I came in contact with and let them know that I appreciated what they were doing. I had one nurse tell me she had not met the newest member of her family and she is 3 or 4 months old (I can't remember exactly) because she loves her niece but wants to make sure she is safe before taking any chances with getting her sick. You are my heroes and I know that this is rambling but saw this and felt compelled to share. If this story should go elsewhere let me know.

I lived in Tucson 20+ years ago, but I still come see family a few times a year...but I don't usually drive Grant Rd when I do.
We were just there for Thanksgiving and I ended up on Grant and I couldn't believe how many building are just straight up gone. It seemed like from Swan to Tucson Blvd there were dozens of dirt lots now.
Where did everyone go? What's the deal with the rando equipment being stored on the lots? How the hell did Stacy Tools survive the cut?
