In an effort to reacquaint myself with Animate and try out a few things that might be useful down the road, I animated the part of the Bell Witch Part II where Kissel gets a visit from Ol' Kate Batts.

I really enjoyed making this, so I may be back with a few others - I've got a 3-4 minute version of the Polish Prognosticator about 85% drawn, and I've been tediously picking through the Gef audio to get that one down to something manageable too. If there's any others you'd really like to see come to life (there are some great ones out there already, but so many more...), let me know about those too!

This is the image that appears on the website of Neal Sibley. He's an author and researcher. He claims that while writing a screenplay based on the Bell Witch Haunting he visited the old Bell family estate and snapped this photo. He had previously written a scene into his screenplay where people see three ghostly balls flying across a field outside the Bell Witch home. Subsequently, these three balls appeared on the developed film, so he says.
He talks about it in detail on my podcast (link below). Neal Sibley has investigated the Bell Witch Haunting of Tennessee, witnessed numerous strange phenomena, appeared on "Coast to Coast AM," and written a book "Deception by Design: The Biblical Perspective on The Paranormal." His new book connects everything from hauntings to alien abductions with a biblical understanding of fallen angels. In his view, we are returning to the days of Noah when fallen angels intermingled with humans, exactly as prophesied.
The interview (below) is the first in a two-part session, focusing on Sibley's work on the Bell Witch, including the specters that confronted him as he carried out his research. The second part, which will be released as late as next week, covers John Keel, UFOs, and why many Christians are uncomfortable talking about the paranormal.

I'm working on research into famous hauntings/possessions and what medical causes match the symptoms of the victims. In the early 1800s, farmer John Bell was supposedly haunted by the ghost "Bell Witch" and cursed him with maladies. In his late 60s he began to experience facial twitching, a stiff tongue, difficulty swallowing, migraines, and seizures. He eventually fell into a coma in 1820 and passed away at age 70. Some experts believe he had "Bell's Palsy", which is temporary facial paralysis resulting from damage or trauma to the 7th cranial nerve. Others think he was poisoned over a few years with arsenic. How would you diagnose him?

I just learned that Witch bells are meant to ring whenever someone opens or closes the door to protect from negative spirits. I thought it was funny since that is what businesses do and don’t even realize they’re doing witchcraft. Lol!
Is that the only way to use witch bells? TIA.

All records are new and unplayed; some may have been popped open to verify color. I run a small site where I (mostly) import titles from a distributor that are traditionally tough to get in the US. Still a pricey proposition with international shipping, but I am usually cheapest on Discogs (and even cheaper direct) and faster for US residents obviously.
Flat rate shipping of $4.50. I pack well protected in a box not a mailer, and ship to the US only. Prices are firm, there's really no wiggle room here. ***Last time I shipped ONE box was crushed by USPS, and I've invested in 600 feet of bubble wrap in the event that happens again. I did take good care of the buyer. Trying to be transparent in my approach... I'll also suggest insurance on a larger order; I'll add $1.00 to the total and cover the difference if you're interested***

Hi,
I want to makena ring of bells and such to put on my front door. I take a lot of influence from Eastern traditions so if I could get some "tibetan" style bells that would be wicked but I don't really know how to shop for that.
I'm generally pretty crafty and have a couple different ways to make the cords I'm just having a hard time sourcing materials.
I prefer not to use Amazon/Walmart either.
