A list of puns related to "Barnes & Noble Nook"
The game was made by a childrens learning program that made a point-and-click game on the nook color. What i do remember about it is that the characters were colorful and the game was spy based. The locations in the game were, a laboratory, a garbage dump, and a room where you start in. I donβt think any of the characters were based of of any real creatures.
Let me start off with I really like my Nook Simple Touch. Yes, it's old, but it's been trustworthy and it can still read ebooks on it, I feel good that I'ms supporting the underdog (wow, B&N is the underdog), and I can set custom screensavers/wallpapers without having to jailbreak my device.
I want Barnes and Noble to do better. I think Amazon needs more competition. I want to upgrade to a new Nook and have a positive experience. But as much as I want all these things...
I want Barnes and Noble to do well and I want a new e-reader I can be excited about and purchase, but it feels like the company needs to make some large changes and I'm worried about spending more money with then rather than just moving to a Kindle for my new books. I don't want to get locked into a product that has no future.
I literally just got this refurbished (from B&N) Glowlight 3 in yesterday. I charged it up and loaded all of my books on it and read it last night. I woke up this morning and it was completely blank. I couldn't get the screen to display anything. So I plugged it into a charger and it started displaying the "nook by Barnes & Noble" screen.
I've had it plugged in for an hour now, and no amount of power button pressing has gotten it to turn off or on. When I unplug it from the computer and hold the power button and the n button for a couple of seconds, the screen will go blank and flash black and then go back to the Nook screen. When I plug it back in again, it does the same thing. That's it.
It isn't mounting when I plug it in to my computer, so I can't do anything that way. I'll keep it plugged in for the rest of the day and hope that does something, but it had 90% battery when I finished using it last night, so it seems unlikely that the battery drained completely overnight.
Has anyone had this issue before? Any ideas?
What's the good (written) word this week, friends?
