A list of puns related to "Balancing selection"
Battlefield 3 had 69 weapons overall (primary+seconday).
Battlefield 4 had 103 weapons overall (primary+seconday).
Battlefield 1 had 44 weapons overall (primary+seconday).
And now BATTLEFIELD 2042 which had 4 studios that stopped work on 5 to get a head start on this, and took 3 years of development time - and what do we get? - 22 weapons overall (primary+seconday).
This is sheer laziness.
Now of course, someone is going to pop and say "HOW MANY OF THOSE GUNS DID YOU ACTUALLY USE IN BF4?" or "WEAPON BALANCING IS EASIER THIS WAY!"
To both - if you want to play the meta, of course you will, but some of use like using different guns, if I've used an ACR or ARX160 IRL, I might want to use it in game. I might even use a Kolibri just for kicks or take the shittiest non meta gun for a challenge, every player is different and a wide selection caters to these different people.
And as for balancing ..honestly, it shouldnt be difficult, why cant ALL guns do roughly the same DPS? If an SMG fires faster, let it do less damage per bullet. If a 308 Assault rifle does more damage, let it fire slower.
Very bummed with the small weapon selection, Portal is really looking to be the main game mode in this release.
Having a Guan Yu on your team vs the enemy has a Hel is just so unfair and unfun.
Inspired by TheLostCodexβs post on expanding Paladins to all races and the armor design, I wanted to do my own on potential new races and classes. While I donβt have any artwork to go with it, I do have some mildly plausible story to go with each addition, so hopefully that will suffice.
Of note: I added 4 races to each faction to bring the total to 16 each β this also lines up with the 4 new classes to bring that total number to 16 also. This is to even out armor distribution (there will be 4 of each armor class once all are added) and to allow a player to have one of every race/class present, if they so wish. While doing this, I also added some new race/class combos to existing ones so that all classes are balanced across factions (i.e., if Horde has 5 Shaman, so does Alliance). Iβll include that at the bottom.
Iβm also going with a vague βtraveling south of Pandariaβ expansion idea. I can expand upon it if needed, but the TL;DR is both factions sail south to establish bases/explore a series of islands newly discovered
New Alliance Races:
Pearlfin Jinyu: Having previously worked with the Alliance during the start of the Pandaria campaign, many are eager to join in the expedition leaving from Pandariaβs shores. Hoping to learn more about both the Ankoan and other possible Jinyu clans in the oceans of Azeroth, the Pearlfin are at the forefront of this new exploration.
Classes: Warrior, Rogue, Hunter, Priest, Shaman, Druid, Monk
Arrakoa: Upon learning of the Magβhar joining the Horde from Draenor, Alliance mages sought to return to the alternate timeline to bolster their own ranks. They instead found Arrakoan refugees fleeing from the Lightbound. After assisting them, they offered safe haven in Stormwind, which the Arrakoans gladly accepted. Now in a new world, the proud Arrakoa seek to make a home for themselves amongst the Alliance.
Classes: Warrior, Mage, Hunter, Priest, Paladin, Shaman, Druid, Warlock, Demon Hunter
Vrykul: No longer dealing with the forces of the Lich King, the Vrykul of Northrend allowed Alliance emissaries to meet their leaders and forge a tentative coalition. Adding their own powerful warships to the Kul Tiran fleet, they seek to expand their reach across Azeroth and learn more about the Titans that created them.
Classes: Warrior, Rogue, Hunter, Shaman, Warlock, Death Knight, Monk
Orcbane Ogres: Led b

So, the question I had. I recently bought a dream machine, and while I'm in love with it. I do need something to load balance the connections between the two internet sources I have. I know that the USG did this, or at least had the option for dual WAN. I haven't see this option on the dream machine. I know the pro can do it but only as a failover. I would like to use both internet connections for faster speeds. Has anyone else had a similar problem? and how did you solve it? Was it a piece of ubiquiti gear you used? or was it a custom out of the box solution like a special router or a computer running pfsense?
Hi guys, I'm new to dividend investing and am trying to set up a long term dividend portfolio. Below is a link to the portfolio I created on M1, which I am yet to fund. My objective is to hold this account for 30+ years, let compound interest play out, and invest monthly with hopes of a steady income later in life. My main question to you guys is what is the best way to go about balancing this portfolio with the 11 stocks I have chosen? Also, should I add/drop some of the companies/ETFs I chose?
Link to a snapshot of the portfolio: https://imgur.com/a/se6tPkN
Extra info: I'm 18, Principal deposit will be $11.5K
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
This topic seems to be most popular now that Tekken 7 is so close to release. Feel free to speak your mind on absolutely anything relating to the cast or individual characters.
Here are some ideas for you all:
Are you happy with the current character selection?
Are you unhappy with any of the returning characters or any of the newly introduced? If so, why?
What are your thoughts on character balance as of the latest build? What about previous versions?
Where would you like to see character balance end up?
Which character(s) haven't made it that you would like to see make the cut?
How would you change that character?
What type of niches or styles would you like to see in the game? Do you feel there is too much or too little representation of one style or niche?
Do you have any ideas for a new type of character? What sort of role would they fill in the cast?
Riot has stated that they have difficulty in balancing champions for other modes apart from summoners rift. They then proceed to make game modes RNG making it entirely unbalanced. Original URF was fine as it had bans to remove the 'ops' and would save riot forcing to disable. It also ensured teams were relatively even. Instead they decide to make it random thereby making the entire game one sided depending on what champions you get? No one expects the game modes to be balanced. But unbalanced+ random is a very bad combo.
TDLR: Don't make URF random then complain about having difficulties balancing
I have a pizza, on a pizza peel, balancing on top of a trash can whose diameter is smaller than the pizza. Now, if I happen to knock into this pizza, it might fall off the trash can and onto the floor. The more balanced it is, the less likely I am to knock it over.
Here is a super awesome picture of my pizza
My normal method is to eat in an order such as follows: 1, 5, 3, 7, 2, 6, 4, 8. This does pretty well. But of course it is never perfect. For instance, if I had three slices left, optimal slices might be 1, 4, 6. (and not the 6, 4, 8)
What is the most stable way to eat my slices? And how does this change if I decide to have 10 slices, or 12 slices?
(note: I am assuming I cut well, and all slices are uniform shape, size and density. I am also ignoring the mass of the pizza peel, and assuming my trash can is cylindrical.)
