The idea is that we divide my loved ones ashes into 2 main portions to bury with their parents (in separate cemetery's)
Then take a little bit of ashes to put into a glass ball as a memory. How would this act be seen under Buddhist perspectives?

Not sure if y'all have listened to the Ashes Divide album but I don't see it being talked about on this sub much.
"Keep Telling Myself It's Alright" (Ashes Divide's only album so far) is a stellar piece of work and deserves more attention. (It's better than Eat The Elephant IMO). Billy's vocals are surprisingly good and his guitar work is top-notch. It's lighter than APC and more accessible.
IDK what else to say other than this: if you're a fan of APC you need to listen to Ashes Divide.
Hey guys, I want to go into the game blind, and plan on playing it with my dad. My question is how would you recommend we divide the characters up? My dad isn’t the best at games so it’s fine if I have a bit more playtime, I just want it to be almost equal and am unsure what characters are used the most. Any help would be very much appreciated.
My boyfriend of half a decade recently passed away. We went through many phases of life together, as we are both young. He was not Catholic, but I am. Since we were not married, I did not get much of a say in his funeral or burial. He was cremated and ashes were buried (like I had asked his parents)… so I thought. As I was leaving the funeral, his dad told me he had something for me, and gave me a little container of some of his ashes. I think he did this since the grave is quite far away from where I live, so I will not be able to visit it often. I was very distraught from the funeral and took the ashes. I did not know that it was a sin for ashes to be divided.
My question now is, what should I do with the small amount of cremains that I have? I don’t think it is possible for me to go back to the grave, at least not for a long time because it is so far away. Can I put it in my will for the cremains to be buried with me in a separate urn? Or what do I do?
