A list of puns related to "Arthur Witty"
First things first, I got into Code Geass after the Attack on Titan ending: >!When everyone said AoT got the "Lelouch ending" I wanted to understand exactly what that meant !<so I cam here. I walked into Code Geass (CG) knowing Lelouch would die as the villain, but I had no idea how.
It's also worth mentioning that I watched the English Dub, as that is what I prefer and I'm unsure if watching it in the English Sub would have increased my enjoyment of it.
Also also, I haven't read the manga, so please keep that in mind.
After watching CG, I'm really glad I did, but I have a lot of questions and things to say. Before any of that, however, I just want to say it's a great show and I enjoyed it immensely.

... keep reading on reddit β‘The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.
Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.
The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:
"What's sarong with that?"
I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).
His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.
--Edit-- I appreciate the condolences. I'm doing well and the worst is behind me and my family. But thanks :)
--Edit-- Massive thanks for all the awards and kind words. And the puns! Love 'em.

68 minutes. An amazing work of staging, choreography, timing and writing that I also found to be funny at times.
Iβm calling it out in that order because I completely understand why this was such an influential film. Pulling heavily from Vaudeville routines, there are many different types of humor on display within Duck Soup. The dialog is puntastic at times and heavily sarcastic and witty throughout. There is also significant physical comedy ranging from mimes to a classic routine where two actors are mirroring each other perfectly. There are elaborate musical comedy numbers as well, and the whole thing is mixed together in an unconventional way that could possibly be described as a duck soup of sorts.
The story is that Groucho Marx gets appointed as head of a country on the brink of war and his ineptitude makes the situation worse way faster than anyone expected and right into the war they were trying to avoid. The structure is essentially a madcap comedy with what I assume is the highest ratio of jokes per second on record.
I didnβt laugh all the time at the jokes in Duck Soup, but I sat in awe of the writing and execution of a very difficult comedy to pull off. I was sure that I would never see a comedy as wild and quickly-paced as Ole Olsenβs Hellzapoppinβ but this is certainly a competitor. Also, if you liked this movie but have not seen Hellzapoppinβ I would strongly encourage you to remedy that as quickly as possible. Overall, I really loved Duck Soup and understand why these IRL Looney Tunes have left their permanent mark as entertainers and comedians.
But Bill kept the Windows
True story; it even happened last night. My 5-year-old son walks up behind me and out of the blue says, "hey."
I turn to him and say, "yeah, kiddo? What's up?"
He responds, "it's dead grass."
I'm really confused and trying to figure out what's wrong and what he wants from me. "What? There's dead grass? What's wrong with that?"
.
.
.
He says, totally straight-faced, "hay is dead grass," and runs off.
You officially hit rock bottom
No it doesn't.
And then you will all be sorry.
Now itβs syncing.
He replied, "Well, stop going to those places then!"

####Meta Information
Character Name: Ser Arthur Oakheart
Starting Title(s): Lord of Old Oak, Knight of the Order of the Green Hand
Age: 21
Physical Description: Long chestnut locks reaching for broad shoulders, joyful deep brown eyes sitting above high cheekbones, a neatly trimmed beard lining a square jaw, and thin lips oft seen wielding a gentle smile, with a lean frame lacking in blemishing marks. The knightβs features are immediately appealing, and he stands tall and full of vigor, solemn yet benign - drawing in and captivating his peers.
Arthur, some might say, is crafted in the image of heroes from ages past, for his true beauty lies not in his striking gifts, but in the way he wields his virtues. His prowess with the sword and gallantry in the face of peril are never woven into boastful anecdotes to regale about; only through deed does he declare them.

Skill Points: 20

Charisma: Leadership

####Biography
An Heir is Born
The first son to bless the matrimony of Owen Oakheart, the Lord of Old Oak, and his wife, Daeryssa Crane, Arthur was the pride of his House from the moment of his birth, and he would learn at an early age what it meant to be the heir of the richest legacy of chivalry in the Reach.
He was educated under the strict oversight of his father in history, calligraphy, swordsmanship, and manners, and he didn't wait to demonstrate where his talents lay. At every given opportunity, Arthur made for the training yard to spar with squires, stableboys, and a few guardsmen, but not with Old Oakβs household knights, for his father did not allow a green boy to challenge those anointed in the name of the Seven.
That was his first lesson; before growing up to lead, he had to learn his place amongst his betters. Lord Owen wished for his heir to become a Knight of the Green Hand one day, as many Oakhearts before had been, and there was no man better than the orderβs senior member, Ser Gyles Merryweather, to groom young Arthur for the role.
When the time came, he was sent
