A list of puns related to "Approximately Infinite Universe"
I want to start recommending some lesser known titles in my collection.
So I am starting with Yoko Ono's 1973 double album Approximately Infinite Universe produced by John Lennon and backed by the NYC band Elephant's Memory. John Lennon plays some guitar on the album, as does Mick Jagger.

NOTES ON VINYL MASTERING
Very dynamic and punchy. Defined deep low end. Saxophones sound so smooth and "in the room."
I've been told to imagine the history of the universe (matter) as an expanding bubble commenced by the big bang. It seems to me that logic requires infinity to have no beginning, right? Sorry if this is remedial physics, but I was just reading that the universe is considered to be infinite.
My logic's not flawed :)
Iβm having fun on infinite but my aim is making me struggle. I tried to do it myself but the settings for sensitivity look different and Iβm unsure.
or some other third thing which would also be fucking nuts. what the fuck
Edit: Math is hard

My understanding is that this argument is an argument stemming from a lack of understanding of the nature of infinity and infinite series.
An infinite series does not necessarily contain all possible outputs, just an infinite number of outputs.
In my metaphor, βaliens existβ and βaliens donβt existβ are both plausible outputs that equally likely to be contained by the βinfinite series of eventsβ that is the universe.
Furthermore, I believe the idea that the universe is βinfiniteβ isnβt necessarily proven to be true as itβs more accurate to say the universe is currently expanding, as we do not know if there is a upper limit.
Edit: thanks for the responses, I largely agree with everything said and was pleasantly surprised to learn a new concept, the Fermi Paradox, as that describes my frustrations with this argument of the infinite universe. Iβm not necessarily pro- or anti- aliens exist, more interested in the way people can misuse mathematical concepts to get their point across.
I'm confused I read somewhere Earth 167 was destroyed, but brought back with the multiverse, but wasn't the Multiverse destroyed, and left with only Earth Prime a combination of all the earths? The part that gives me hope is that Lucifer's Earth 666 wasn't destroyed. (I haven't slept yet it's 8am I don't need sleep I need answers!)
What about the number 52 made them want to use that number?
I'm high and happy New Year guys.
I'm so lost in multiverses I forgot to put on my multiverse sunglasses.
I'm not sure what to make of this video, but it is absolutely fascinating to momentarily accept it as 100% real and listen to what the dude has to say. I think a lot of topics mentioned in the video (even if 100% fake) are worth pondering. The alien says they are an evolutionary descendent of us and they've been sent here to observe. Some time around, well, now, the human race destroys itself with nuclear weapons. The initial bombs don't do immense damage but the fallout does. These beings evolve from the sole survivors, and have been sent back to observe us. Evidence has been destroyed and names removed from historical record to prevent them from tampering with the past. It leads us to believe there is an evolutionary end point for one or both of our species, as the alien makes clear our species can no longer breed, and of course they'd only know that had they tried.
If it's fake, the entertainment value is great. If it's something hidden in plain sight then even better. I've spent 15 minutes of my time in worse ways and I totally recommend watching this video. I've been revisiting it the past 9 months, and I'm still not convinced it's fake or a production.
The exasperated sigh of the alien when he's clearly tired of this guy not getting it hits different.
UFOs, aliens, and other species aside, I think these ideas are fantastic. The alien also claims we all live each others lives and existence is a shared experience.
If evolutionary descendants are real, and they're concerned with the death of mankind via nuclear war, how do they feel about the death of mankind via a virus? Early in the pandemic, radar maps were released on the conspiracy subreddit showing alien ships above Moscow, China, D.C. and Toronto. The photos were quickly deleted and the threads locked/users banned and the last thing I saw of that was people complaining the image disappeared off their phone or their drives. Of course, I've never seen it again, and it was explained away as potential leaked military tech, it's nothing, or a hoax, or a bug, and it makes sense why we can't see it, but I know what I saw, and the deletion of the threads from reddit and images from the internet has left me questioning a lot of things this past year.

Slightly facetious title aside, what was the theatrical culture in England towards the end of the Elizabethan/beginning of the Stewart era? Weβve all heard of Shakespeare (and Marlowe, to an extent) and know his plays were popular, but to what extent did they dominate the theatrical scene? Were other playwrights as prolific during that time?
Here we are STILL with the same BS messaging that we've had for a year.
>SORRY, THIS SERVICE IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE US. WE'LL ANNOUNCE WHEN IT IS AVAILABLE IN YOUR REGION.
Has anyone heard why this is? I know we see the usual reasons "geo restrictions due to other deals", if that's the case, what are the other deals? I'll subscribe to one of those services instead.
I don't understand how Marvel can have figured out how to offer a service in Canada a full decade ago but DC and Amazon can't figure out how to turn off their geo blocking.
For example, my idea is as our power lever grows we are actually getting stronger than we were before, and weβve reached a point where our light overflows. Using this extra light, our ghost has converted it into an infinite supply of the most basic ammunition.
Whatβs your headcannon?
