The Crystal Palace subway was opened in 1865 but it fell into disrepair in the years after the famous attraction burnt down. It's been occasionally used over the years, including as a World War Two air raid shelter as the setting for a Chemical Brother's video. Work to restore it starts this year.

not the building, not the buildings, but the whole dark complex: Project Riese. "In 1944, 28,000 tons of steel and cement were allocated to the Riese project, which is the amount that Germany spent annually on the construction of air-raid shelters for civilians."

Can't get into air raid shelter?
I'm playing P2 and I'm at the entrance to the air raid shelter but there's some student that won't let me in. I can't find any mention of it online.

In Tel-Aviv, there's a time period of 90 seconds to reach shelter once the air raid sirens go off. People leave their apartment building entrance open for passersby who seek refuge.

Smoke and orbit in air raid shelter w video evidence//
Hi, I went to an air raid shelter w my friend the other night. We immediately heard some noises, but they stopped after we went deeper. I took a couple of videos while we were there and got to look at them tonight.
I noticed in one of the videos a small orbit (at 4sec), a second later a smoke looking thing goes by the camera and then there was another small orbit in the end of the video (at 10sec).
I didnt see the smoke thing while i was shooting the video, which is a little strange. The whole night after that I felt like something or someone was there w us.

This German air raid shelter is a Winkel Tower. Up to 600 people could shelter during bombardments. Most bunkers were built around industrial sites. The steep roof was designed to ensure bombs slid off and did not explode on the roof. About 200 bunkers were constructed. Nicknamed βConcrete Cigarsβ
