So I was just watching Sugar Rush Christmas on Netflix, and noticed that Adriano Zumbo (one of the judges) was wearing a black ring on his right middle finger! I did some googling after this and didn’t find anything about him saying he was asexual, but I did see a bunch of pictures of him with either a blue or a black ring on his right middle finger. It looks like he doesn’t wear it all the time, but it would be so cool if he was ace! Does anyone know anything about this?
I really enjoyed some of his dessert creations, especially the V8 cake. Everything seemed to come together in one unit, rather than the current trend of multiple scattered elements that people have to "hunt for".
Does anyone know what happened? Why is he not on the show anymore?

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

I would LOVE to see a season where the finalists all come back to do even more complicated bakes and technical challenges. But since so many of them have gone on to professional work, would that go against the GBBO's tenet that the contestants need to be amateur bakers?
I not-so-secretly want to get a bake-off between the judges (and perhaps a few other famous bakers) doing bakes - can you imagine Paul getting feedback on a loaf of bread? Or Adriano Zumbo coming on and competing with Mary Berry on a showstopper cake?
