A list of puns related to "Adam Jones (musician)"
Hey all,
Iβve been playing guitar for a little over a year on my trusty Cort G series strat. Although I definitely havenβt grown out of its capabilities, I feel like itβs time for a second guitar to step up my game. Lately Iβve been absolutely mesmerized by Adam Jonesβ tone on the latest Tool album, so I would love to have a guitar that is capable of recreating that tone.
Adam Jonesβ Gibson signature was out of the question, so I look at a βregularβ Gibson Custom and holy sh!t those are expensive. That, and Iβm a bit scared of the weight, maybe a Standard will do fine as well.
Adam teased an Epiphone signature, which I would probably buy, but I donβt think I can wait until itβs out. Unless someone here has info on when we might expect a release?
So, right now I see no other option but to buy an affordable but nice Les Paul-type guitar and Adamify it: Seymour Duncan SH-6 bridge pickup probably, what else? Any suggestions for a good starting point + modifications are very welcome! It doesnβt have to be a gibson/epiphone, it also doesnβt have to be super cheap. I want a nice feeling and sounding guitar that enables my playing to level up and to get a step closer to sounding like my guitar heroes!
Iβm trying to get a tone thatβs somewhat close to Adam jones and I have no clue to buy amp wise. I was looking at an evh lbx III but Iβm worried it wonβt clean up with a volume knob. I was also looking at neural dsp and have no clue how that works. Any amp recommendations or tips?
Does Pacman rub any other bengals fans the wrong way? Was reading an article on Cincy jungle- where he was downing on Andy in comparison to Joe in the playoffs(I do agree Joe has shown to be better) but not sure why he decided to dig on Andy(When Andy led us to 5 straight postseasons). Also confused with Pac as he consistently gives opinions/comments like heβs an all-time great Bengal when in reality he was a solid contributor to a consistent playoff team. Thoughts?
I know heβs not the best character but thatβs pretty solid.
Also yes weβre winning a Super Bowl in the near future.
I heard awhile back that he designed the skulls that the tanks run over in Terminator 2 Judgement day. This is my favorite movie too lol
I also remember seeing that he likes Dio. I am a huge Dio fan and have come to realize the lyrics he has sung and the lyrics of Yes are unmatched when it comes to allowing for maximum individual interpretation and listener creativity.
The best artists lyrics allow for the user to fill in the blanks or confusion with their own life experience. Tool's lyrics is another one of these bands that does this lyrically. Can you give me some more recs of lyrically special bands that allow for this?
