A list of puns related to "Action Hero Biju"
Mfs should make this a fucking weekly post thereβ¦
Whenever I watch Action Hero Biju, i feel bad at this particular scene. The scene I am talking about is when the lady comes in with a complaint about the Auto guy and SI Biju later finds out that the Auto driver and the Lady who came in with the complaint actually had an affair before. Biju then says to the Auto Driver (going to translate to English because i dont have Malayalam font in my phone) I should beat you up for two reasons. Firstly, you slapped that lady in public. Secondly "ithe polathe sadanathine nee premichu!!" Whenever i see the movie, I think about what the lady would have felt when she saw the movie in theatre. If it was me I would have been really sad. I know it is meant to be a joke. But, saying that someone is unlovable based on their looks is just disgraceful. What is your opinion about this? Am i just overthinking? Or have any of you felt the same about this scene before?
Does anyone else think the same -
Apart from cameo appearance of Suraj and the movement of story and it's timeline, action hero biju is a poor script (atleast for the most part) and pushes a very weird narrative. It's tailored towards older generation and gets a lot of things wrong. From their depiction of marijuana to advocating that corporal punishment is good for the child.
While the movie attempts to show police officers as normal as possible (normal as in real people), some dialogues by the movie's protagonist are cringe AF.
The scene with his interaction with human rights activist is also really bad. Purposefully giving the woman an accent and showing her husband as a silent shy guy is just forcing a narrative and convinient story telling (not saying that convinient story telling is good or bad, but is the movie keeping it real or not?)
Would love to know the opinion of others.
why people giving negative reviews about action hero biju ? i hope this movie is the most realistic police story in mollywood . any other reasons i mean anti-nivin fans ? :D totally disgusting reviews . when we all grow up to enjoy good movies .
There is no Itachi promise to Obito in this scenario so he will not turn on the Akatsuki
I just got done watching Last Action Hero (which is currently streaming on Netflix (U.S)) and after not seeing it for about about 15 years, I was left floored and excited to write-in /r/movies. Last Action Hero is so damn fun and entertaining and cycles so well within the metaverse of action films my brothers and myself grew up with. I will be watching this again soon and I really hope you can see through the fun campy behavior of the film and really enjoy this one yourself! Thanks, u/GovSchwarzenegger for making this fun entertaining film but more importantly for the memories I will have with my family cheering you on throughout your career!
Biju was also the Chief Minister of Odisha for 2 terms
Biju Patnaik was a pilot & when the Soviet Union was in trouble during World War II, he bombed Hitler's forces by flying a fighter aircraft Dakota, which forced Hitler to retreat. The highest award was also given to him and he was granted honorary citizenship by the Soviet Union.

Later, when the daughter of Indonesian President Sukarno was born, he called Biju Patnaik & his wife to name the infant. Biju Patnaik & his wife named the Presidentβs daughter as Meghawati. Indonesia had granted honorary citizenship award 'Bhumi Putra' to Biju Patnaik & his wife in 1950.

Was this ever explained? I mean what does wood have to do with controlling Biju?
Basically this.
Kurama: Clearly father preferred me over you guys for the sole fact I'm the strongest Biju. I whipped you assess back in the fourth war. And I was only half power back then.
Saiken: Nah bruh, it's totally me bro.
Son Goku: And how is it you?
Saiken: The sage of SIX paths. The SIX tails. Do the math bitches.
Shukaku: dO tHe MaThS bItChEs
Saiken: Your crazy dumbass can't even do maths so I wouldn't even have to expect an answer from you.
Shukaku: You wanna go you slimebag?
Matatabi: Let's not all get rowdy. But clearly, I was father's favourite. I was one cute as hell kitten back in my heyday.
Chomei: Oh yeah, sure, you being the favourite especially that one time when you destroyed father's home with an overgrown hairball.
Kurama: Oh yeah that was hilarious.
Matatabi: Oh shush you two! That was an accident.
Kurama: A hilarious accident. Bwahahaha.
Isobu: What are you guys arguing about now?
Shukaku: About who was father's favourite Biju.
Isobu: Clearly me. Discussion over. Leaves and doesn't elaborate further.
Shukaku: That ass.
Kurama: For once I agree with the racoon.
KokuΕ: Hey guys.
Saiken: So who do you think is father's favourite Gyuki?
Gyuki: Father's favourite?
Chomei: Yes, we are discussing who was father's favourite.
Gyuki: I left Bee to avoid his annoying rap. Now I have to be here witnessing another pointless argument? Can't we all just accept that father loved us all?
Kurama: Fuck no.
Gyuki: Then I'm out. I'd sooner deal with Bee than this. Exists.
KokuΕ: Guys but father...
Chomei: Well my argument for why father preferred me over you scrubs is because I can fly like him. We were air homies.
Saiken: Father hated bugs so shut your buggy ass up.
Chomei: But he liked me.
Son Goku: Sorry Chomei but he told us he didn't like you much for being a bug.
Chomei: You're lying.
Son Goku: Monkey's honour.
Chomei: My life was a lie. Exists complementing life.
Matatabi: Monkey's honour?
Son Goku: Don't ask me, just made it up.
KokuΕ: Guys, just listen, father...
Shukaku: Yall being dumb-dumbs. He clearly liked me most. I was the first biju to be created you wasteyutes.
Kurama: And the weakest.
Shukaku: STFU. Go back to pirate's cove Foxy you ass.
Matatabi: Pirate's cove? Foxy? The hell is a pirate?
Saiken: Once again, Shukaku is raving like a madman and screaming nonsense. Honestly, I'm done. Father liked me the most as well all came to that understanding so goodbye. Disappears.

... keep reading on reddit β‘5 years ago this film was released and still many people wonders what went wrong for this film, the film had the exact scenario on twitter just like the recent disaster 83 where (PAID) Critic reviews were inversely proportional to box office collection & real word-of -mouth of the film , i wanna tell what exactly went wrong with this flick
Adi Chopra wanted to rip off De-Niro 'The Fan' but the biggest mistake he did was putting double-role formula plot in his film, he gone wrong on the paper itself forget about execution...this film was never supposed to be a double-role emotional shit which the makers eventually made it
The BIGGEST drawback of the film was that gaurav role of SRK, full marks to his effort but his performance was not upto the mark in this role, it was similar to many of his 90's performances with good amount of hamming , Masses hated it that's why they rejected it on the other hand his Aryan khanna the Superstar ACT was Truly Outstanding and the most UNDERRATED Act of his career , imo he should have done only one role in this film and leave the FAN role for some young star like Shahid kapoor or Rajkumar Rao , it should have been be the Proper 2-HERO Flick Like Hrithk-Tiger WAR
In the Screenplay of this film FAN should have allowed to go Full ROGUE and Maniac without any redemption and destroy the reputation & Life of Superstar and Then how Superstar with his all Power & money Catches him and defeats him in the end should be the Overall Plot of the film Instead of the melodramatic double-role shit Mr.Chopra created in this crap and destroy the potential of this story
With Someone like Shahid as FAN would have been a BANGER casting !
SRK Vs Shahid would created HUMONGOUS Buzz and with Decent screenplay this Flick would have easily done 300cr+ business on box office or even more
SRK as aryan khanna was Truly phenomenal , i am not a fan of him but this particular performance of him really impressed me a lot , it was so real, layered & subtle performance ,Neutral audience want to see him in this kind of roles not like JHMS, zero, pathan or that Atlee shit he is doing
If he wants to make a real comeback then the subtle layered age-appropriate roles like Aryan khanna are the ones which will bring him his goodwill back unlike pathan or Atlee film
so what you guys think is'nt bollywood missed a golden opportunity to make a SOLID 2-Hero action Thriller as FAN with SRK and Shahid in lead , Creative BANKRUPTCY in the minds of B

After that, let people guess who the character is.
I get it was somehow in pursuit of peace, but I really fail to see the logic in it. How does handing these WMDs out across the continent to the new villages, which would have likely been formed by enemy clans, go towards peace?
Where's your head at?
I was thinking about this recently when watching βvenomβ and other super hero movies. Something so normal in movies, which is in no way new, is the casual killing of unnamed βbad guysβ and henchmen. Honestly, Iβve always had a bit of an issue with this because I think for young audiences it really promotes a lack of empathy and highlights this idea that the βmain charactersβ are the only ones that matter and the unnamed henchmen that die are just random side characters. Itβs so ingrained in tv and movies at this point though that thereβs no way around it. I loved Austin powers take on this with the deleted scene with the dead henchmanβs family.
My question is: dating back to the early days of movies was this always a thing where death was taken so lightly even in side characters. Did Star Wars normalize it with the killing of unnamed stormtroopers, or was it always a thing even before then. Was there any pushback to it when it initially was shown on screen?
I understand this is kind of a weird topic, just wondering if anyone has any insight.
Hello,
I was wondering what do you all think of Biju Janata Dal?
Recently, I saw how Congress/BJP MPs were switching to TMC. Of course we know why.
But what impact has BJD done so far both in nation and Odisha?
