I just became acquainted with a trans person, but I know very little about transgenders.
Hi, I'm cis and thought this would be the best place to get some actual clarification on the topic. I'm from a conservative family and a christian school, so I've literally never had any real contact with transgender people. I'm seeking information so I don't say any BS and know how to help if people I know ever struggle or want to talk to me (venting, etc). What exactly is it? How do you feel, or know you might be a trans person?
Edit: I've already been called out on the misuse of the terminology, but I can't edit the title of the post, I apologize. Thank you all for sparing some time to help me understand you. If this post makes you feel burdened in any way (as some have commented), please feel free to just ignore it.
Edit 2: I appreciate everyone who provided links and explanations for me. I might delete this post later, though, because many people seem to be getting very upset with my misuse of the term “transgender” and/or think this is the wrong place to ask this.

Getting acquainted with Superman.
I have never watched DC or was really into Superman since a child with Christopher Reeves. I watched the man of steel and it made me cry numerous times I'll admit. I understand the father's ideology and the sacrifice but also understand from the child's point to listen and respect the father and the mother trying to be neutral ..as good mother's do. As for romance .. kinda flat. ? Idk .. I enjoyed Clark Kent and Lois with Christopher Reeves maybe because I had no idea of how relationships build and stay. It was all rose colored glasses. Or Lois isn't portrayed as great.. or you can tell Lois was thirsty for Clark Kent ..in Man of Steel. Lol idk. Either way I like the romance with Clark Kent and Lois back in when I was innocent. I appreciate the relationship and heroism with Kal El and his earth father and mother and his biological father. I like the way it was weaved. Still makes me cry when Kevin dies... I can totally identify with that both as child and parent. .. sometimes 8 think the same thing .. we as humans are we so damaged we'd destroy something good like if we had a real Superman... like really. .. see how fast everyone wanted to turn him in and how Superman .. had his doubts ..he couldn't trust humans also.. that really hit home for me. .. humans are capable of some bull..and some are capable of the most amazing graceful acts of kindness. I always look for goodness in people and always forgive .. but to watch movies like this... hurts doesn't it because we always want people to be happy and happy people we'll they don't purposely hurt people... anyways that's my thoughts on Superman. I do have a question ...why did the series not continue with Superman story... it went kinda Batman and DC..used Superman as a spinoff.. I think we need to have that story completed.. soon. We need that kinda something.. today.

So I’ve seen a handful of them: Kaito Kiyomiya, Nakajima, Mutoh (of course), Marufuji, Shiozaki, Sakuraba, and Ogawa. Mostly from the early days of NOAH or matches they’ve had elsewhere.
However, as a big NJPW Mark, I want to know what to expect for night three, and want to get excited. Is there a NOAH show with all of them (or the majority of them) that would be a great introduction?

Becoming Acquainted with Jason Isbell
Hello, just joined this subreddit and thought I'd relay a story that's kinda funny. If this isn't appropriate, I assume moderator will axe it.
Summer 2018 I got 2 tickets in the mail for Jason Isbell concert at Red Rocks...radio station promo or something. I had no idea who Jason Isbell was and wasn't inclined to find out. I think the tickets were given away or went unused. Duh! Well, in 2019, I heard Jason for what I think was the first time - 'If We Were Vampires'. The song just knocked me out - my wife and I had just celebrated our 40th anniversary and I kinda felt like that song was written for me...just a beautiful love song. My wife died last year, just short of our 41st anniversary, and when I play 'If We Were Vampires' now it 's just so emotional. Time running out is a gift has a different meaning now. Anyway, I kick myself for not at least going to the show for free and seeing what Jason Isbell was all about...I mean who doesn't go to a free concert. But, Jason and 400 Unit will be back at Red Rocks in May 2022. I will be there. And yes, as you may have surmised, a guy who's been married for 40+ years is getting up there in age. LOL
