My Great-Grandfather's United States M17 Helmet for the 3rd Infantry Division, otherwise known as the Marne Division

Hey guys, this is my Great Grandfather's M17 American Helmet from the First World War. He was in the 3rd Infantry Division, which is also known as the Marne Division. It's in decent condition, but the liner has pretty much disintegrated.

It's pretty interesting because he decided to paint the Division's symbol on top of the helmet with bright blue and white stripes rather than the division's agreed small square on the front.

Anyway, you guys know anything about this? All I know is I got this with his 'war chest' which included his uniform, badges, and his pistol. You know how much this helmet costs? I don't plan on selling it, but I do wish to know how much something like this nowadays would go for.

In Predator 2 (1990), the Elder Predator has a United States 2nd Infantry Division insignia on his right arm, featuring an Indianhead. The 2nd Infantry Division fought in WW1, WW2, and most lately the Korean War (as of 1997), so this Elder probably visited at least one of these wars. The Predator comics later established that the Predators have visited Earth during most of the major wars.

[A3][Recruiting][Milsim] Task Force Spearhead, 3rd Infantry Division

Spearhead Gaming is a long time running community boasting 1,000 discord members dedicated to having fun but no-nonsense Milsim. Current operations have 40+ consistent members attending. We do things differently at Spearhead. Story driven, persistent, month long campaigns are the bread and butter of the community, but we deviate for the occasional one-off mission.

Spearhead has a large mission development team constantly working on new missions which have us playing as different units and factions in different time periods to keep things fresh. Some deployments recently have had us playing as the United States military in the present, and past such as Vietnam and WW2 (Army/Marines), Chernarussian Defense Force, Israeli Defense Force, British in Rhodesia, Columbian Military, Russian Military, Saudi Arabian Royal Guard and more.

There are several units within Spearhead;

3rd Infantry Division - Standard Line infantry specializing in ground assault and armor.

10th Mountain Division - Premiere light infantry unit that excels in mountainous terrains.

1st Air Calvalry Brigade - Aviation unit that utilizes both rotary and fixed win air assests.

Det-7 - Special Forces unit that specializes in direct action, sniping operations and other special tasks.

We are not a PMC, or trying to emulate a single unit for every operation we do. Our roles and tasks change to fit the narrative of our mission no matter where we go. We keep it realistic without ruining the fun. All leadership roles are voluntary and there is no "Yes sir/No sir" involved.

3rd Infantry Division is the unit that everyone starts in and you may slot as any role as long as you show competency in it's use. While there is no mandatory training, we do hold trainings which are hosted by experts in the field, or active/prior service members. After 30 days in 3ID or passing our introductory course, you may join any other unit with the exception of Det-7, who invites you.

For new members and players to ArmA 3, we have a mentorship program which will pair you with a dedicated member of the community who will assist you in getting your mods, getting in the server and anything else that you need.

Weekend operations are on Saturday 2000EST, and weekday patrols range between 1600-2200EST. You may operate in the field with a minimum of four people, giving you the opportunity to play whenever you have enough to leave the wire.
