National and Pan-European Green parties saw significant gains, possibly due to an increasing fear of the climate change and global warming.^1 Nationalist parties also gained seats in Italy, France and Britain. On Sunday the 26th of May the European Parliament election takes place in Germany. You can (and I suggest you also should) check before which party stands for what claims and if you should consider that party as voting option. These links lead you to different sites that have collected party claims, attitudes, past votes, etc. on different topics:

Pro-tip: If you are undecided or you don't care about a certain question click on "skip thesis" instead of "neutral", since neutral would bias the results!

so im a recent 18 year old and for the first time i'll be allowed to vote in the european parliamentary elections next year (in may here in my country) but i don't really know anything about it...? most of what comes up on internet searches is just general information about the parliament, which isn't really what im looking for.
do i vote for my national parties or for people? or for those european parties? in the latter's case what parties are there, etc? any information or websites, or even advice about this would be kindly appreciated ! 🇪🇺
