Edit: none of you retards seem to be able to read. βbUt ThEY aRe OnLY fUuurLouGheD!β Yeah, duh, millions are and many of those will get back to work. That is why I say 10(!) million will get their jobs back instantly. But youβre too autistic to read that far! However, maaany companies will not take back their full 100% workforce because demand will still be subdued for a long time. A restaurant might take back 30% and run a skeleton crew.
Learn how to read and Iβll try and use your retarded American English the way you want me to. Apparently 20 inches of jobs didnβt make sense to you for some reason.

So that was the fastest growth ever in the US for a single month. The following months was above average at 300k+. Adjusting for population that would equate to 1,6β jobs added in one month. We have no idea how the job market will act once restrictions begin to lift but it would be reasonable to assume we get an initial boom in employment followed by a slower pace.
Just for fun, letβs do some massive assumptions:
Job losses stops at 30β (two more weeks of losses.. that is optimistic in other words)
Initial boom is 10β for the first month 4β second month 3β third month 2β fourth 1,6β fifth This leaves us with 9,4β still unemployed Follow that up with a slower but still accelerated pace of 400k/month on average it would take an additional 24 months to get back. All in all 29 months to get back to 4% unemployment
So what does this tell us? **Even if we βonlyβ get another 8β jobs lost AND the first five months have an average 12,5x **(10+4+3+2+1,6=20,6/1,6=12,5) the previous RECORD monthly job growth we could still be looking at 2,5 years before we are back at previous levels.... And those are optimistic numbers I would argue.
This at the same time as the rest of the world is trying to do the same. Way more added debt on corporate and national level from already record highs. Fear/caution regarding a second wave. A consumer that dramatically increases their savings-rate (paying off debt / regular savings) as always happens after a crisis. All of this in an economy (the US) that is 70% consumer driven.
TLDR: itβs fucked up. A depression scenario is the most likely for a few years. How this is still assumed by the markets to get a U- (or even V-!) shaped recovery is insane.
Please prove me completely wrong. My puts are counting on this.

Conor Whooley, aged 24 and originally from Greystones but living in Dublin, Ireland went missing in August of 1983.
In October of 1983 a body of an unidentified man washed up on Rhosocolyn beach in Wales. The body had been in the water for some time and could not be identified through dental records. He was then buried in Menai Bridge Cemetery in Anglesey Wales.
The body was exhumed for DNA testing in 2013 after police in Wales were approached by Norwegian authorities, as it was suspected of belonging to that of a Norwegian Doe. The DNA did not match that of the Norweigian Doe.
In 2017, Conor's mother was watching Crimecall - an Irish program that broadcasts appeals on open cases, similar to Unsolved Mysteries or Crimewatch- when an appeal was issued for family members of the long-term missing to give DNA samples to the GardaΓ (Irish police) in hopes they could be matched to does found in Ireland and abroad.
It has now been made known publically that the unidentified Doe in Wales is Conor Whooley. When the family were told, Conor's niece happened to be travelling through the UK and visited his grave and arranged for a plaque to be erected at his gravesite which reads
> Conor Whooley, Ireland, 1959-1983. A loved soul is never lost".
Operation Runabay, a GardaΓ operation to establish the identities of Does washed ashore abroad that may be Irish, and Operation Orchid, a British operation to identify Does, have worked in conjunction in recent years and successfully identified three Does from Ireland that washed ashore in Wales.
These are Conor Whooley, Pauline Finlay, and Joseph Brendan Dowley.
Pauline Finaly went missing in 1994 at the age of 49 when she went to walk her dogs on Old Bawn Beach. Her dogs were found at the water's edge alongside a pair of wellingtons. In 2017, a body that washed ashore on Cable Bay on October 31st 1994 was identified as Pauline's. Her widowed husband learned of her identification shortly before he died.
Joseph Brendan Dowley was 63 and from Kilkenny but living in London when he went missing in October of 1985. He had been at last seen at a ferry terminal. His body was found on a beach in Anglesey on November 9th 1985. Coincidently, he like Conor Whooley, was buried at Menai Bridge Cemetary. He was identified in 2018.
In a statement given to Barry Cummins at RTΓ, Detective Sergeant Don Kenyon of North Wales Police said that it's believed some of the unidentified bodies in Welsh cemeteries may be of missing Irish

On Aug. 19, 1983, three realtors were shot inside the Shumate and Co. Realtors Office at 16007 Memorial Drive in west Houston. The victims were identified as Elizabeth Shumate, 54, JoAnn Brown, 46 and Frances Ivey, 60.
For these women, it was more than just a headline. Sara Ivey Edwards and Helen Ivey Maldonado are Ivey's daughters.
βShe wasnβt worried about real estate. Who would hurt a Realtor? Really? I mean, theyβre friendly people,β Maldonado said.
But someone took advantage of their charm at a place they all felt safe.
βKnowing that these women had to have been terrified thatβs what breaks my heart,β Edwards said.
Itβs an empty field now, but 37 years ago, there was a house on the property and inside, a boutique real estate firm.
βIt was a little Victorian house that they had moved to the property,β Maldonado said.
βYellow and white,β Edwards said.
The murders happened around closing time after most people in the office had left. Another worker returning to the office around 6:30 p.m. discovered the crime scene.
βThis was the day after Hurricane Alicia hit Houston, the streets were still full of glass, traffic was crazy,β Maldonado said.
Houston Police said the women were all found shot in the back of the head, execution style. Shumate was tied up, Brown and Ivey were close by and some of their jewelry was stolen.
The women had time to hide some pieces of jewelry, beneath chair cushions and trash cans.
Shortly after the murders, two people came forward saying they saw a man near the real estate office, and a composite sketch was released. However, detectives thought all along there might have been at least two killers.
Originally, they thought one of them might have been a woman.
Over the years, the case has got national attention. In the '90s, The Oprah Show featured the case with the original detective, David Calhoun, who appeared alongside all three families.
Patty Pieper remembers making the trip to Oprah. Sheβs Joann Brownβs daughter, who now lives in Alabama.
βSheβs the best mom ever. Everything was always about my sister and I,β she said. βShe worked hard. She loved hard.β
In the early '80s, life wasnβt always easy. Pieper said her mom was in a rocky marriage and was planning to leave.
βIt was horrible, because we went in th

Carol was last seen in Troy, Michigan on October 26, 1983. She visited her boyfriend at his apartment, stayed about two hours, and was last seen between 11:00 and 11:45 p.m., when she left to go home. She has never been heard from again.
Her 1981 Buick was found parked in the driveway of her house on Wentworth Place, with the keys in the ignition and her purse and eyeglasses on the front seat. She didn't leave a note for her three children, which is uncharacteristic of her behavior. She also left behind all her clothes, belongings and money.
Carol was in the process of a divorce in 1983; the case supposed to go before a judge in November. Her relationship with her husband, Donald, was volatile, with many bitter arguments. He was 21 years older than his wife. Two of Carol's friends stated Donald was a controlling spouse who wouldn't permit her to choose her own friends or activities. A photo of him is posted with this case summary.
Carol told friends that Donald had repeatedly abused her and that she was afraid for her safety. In court documents, she alleged he had struck her in the face and neck with his fists, and sexually molested her when she started sleeping on the couch. At one point, Carol gave a neighbor a sweatshirt she found rolled up on the floor of Donald's closet; it contained a combat knife, a hunting knife and a machete.
There were six police reports on file about Carol and Donald; none of them recorded that she was the victim of any assault. Once, Carol told police no assault occurred, although in court documents related to the divorce she accused Donald of striking her three times and chipping a tooth.
Carol also filed three complaints about Donald tapping her phone; he planned to record her conversations and use the recordings against her in their custody battle; she was seeking custody of their children. Carol retaliated by recording Donald's phone conversations. Her mother, stated that although there was violence between the couple, it wasn't as bad as Carol alleged, and that sometimes she was the aggressor in their arguments.
At the time of Carol's disappearance, she and Donald were still living in the same house. Donald said they kept apart from each other and claimed he hadn't seen her since October 19, a week before her disappearance. He was court-ordered not to enter the house's study, which Carol
