A list of puns related to "Yiddish Theater"
Hi all.
Thank you for letting me join your Subreddit, it is great to see the amount of resources being shared in this community. I am very interested in watching performances of Yiddish theater pieces, either historical or modern, and would love if you had any you could share. I have seen some Yiddish theater live, whatever I can catch in New York. I would love anything you can share, including digital performances as well as on stage, if you have any.
A big thank you in advance!

Judging the writers: In a tournament featuring players with high academic credentials, the writers placed "Twilight" right alongside works of classic literature "Moby-Dick", "Nineteen Eighty-Four", "The Scarlet Letter" and "Pride and Prejudice".
Generous judging dept.: For one response, Julia in quick succession first forgot the proper phrasing, then gave an incorrect response, then gave a correct response. Even though the timer on the podium had

I just landed the role of a chassidishe man in a short film and want to perfect what iβve got so far. Background: i was not raised religious but still got sent to a modern orthodox school anyway, iβve worked as a real estate agent in brooklyn for the past 3 years to support my acting. Iβve worked with satmar chasidim on a daily basis so iβm very familiar with chassidishe culture but the obstacle iβm facing is finding proper guidance. The majority of published literature relating to the yiddish dialect doesnt account for modern day satmar inflections and pronunciations, geared more towards Eastern dialect more reminiscent of old school Yiddish theater, a different beast entirely. Iβve started on Yiddish Duolingo( to my surprise they use Satmar pronunciation) and would love some recs for a human counterpart to bounce ideas off of ifpossible!
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
