I remember it like it was yesterday
I am so stressed right now. On Friday, I received a disciplinary warning for my attendance at the corporate company I've been in for a little less than a year. I have not once gone over the PTO I was given for 2021, which was a grand total of 3 sick days, 2 personal days, and 3 vacation days.
Unfortunately, I did have a really bad health and personal year in 2021. There were days where, due to the pandemic, I had to quarantine and wouldn't be in office for two weeks and had to work from home. There were days where I had family emergencies. There were days where I just needed a day for my disabilities and mental health. I never once went over the PTO I was given. In fact, I still had one day left over--and those days don't roll over into 2022.
The office environment is extremely toxic and hostile. There's no in between with the employees there, they've either been there for over a decade or they started a year or two ago. The older women are very gossipy and it's like walking on eggshells. HR goes around telling people about PR guy's alcoholism and marital issues. My manager is so mean and miserable that I've had anxiety attacks on my way too work.
Through all this, I have not once missed a deadline. In fact, I was given more responsibilities and not only am I doing the job I was hired for, but the job of the girl who quit a month before I got there! They had promised me a promotion and then decided not to, but gave me all the responsibilities for the same pay at $20 an hour in NYC.
I got COVID recently, and my manager made such a big deal out of me being sick "again" that I had anxiety attacks every day and returned to work on the 6th day of being sick --because of the new CDC guideline. I was extremely upset at being there, and it was pretty well known. That Monday I returned, I asked a coworker for help with the laborious tasks in the warehouse, and my manager ripped into me for not only being sick and out of office, but, "she can't imagine that what I do there is so hard that I need help." All I could say was, "I need help because I can't breathe well."
So, on Friday, HR pulled me into her office to tell me that someone told her that I was unhappy about being in office after COVID and the I felt I should be home (which was true.) Then she pulled out a log book of all the instances I had been sick, used my PTO for vacation or personal days, all the days I asked to work from home as a reasonable accommodation per the ADA, and the days I had to q

Not sure if this has been posted before, but that's a pretty insane streak I only now realized was broken this season. If Hamilton won Abu Dhabi, the streak would have continued since he would be tied at 9 wins with Verstappen.
Fangio, Senna and Vettel had it for 4 years, Schumacher for 5. Hamilton had it for 7. Fangio was the only one of those who wasn't with the same team for the whole duration of the streak. Source
Iβll start. I executed a friendly M22 in top tier out of pure sweatiness. Now confess!
