A list of puns related to "Wrist Weights"
Basically the tittle. F30 BW: 58 kilos front squatting 40 kilos itβs feeling heavy but I could probably add 5 more kilos and go for less reps.
But the thing is my wrists feel busted when Iβm done. Iβm trying really hard to keep my back straight when going down and being mindful of letting the bar rest on my collar bone. But if push it harder into my collar bone then I wonβt be able to, you know.. breath?π wth Iβm I doing wrong?
Thank you in advance
I just tried using wrist weights with my normal VR workout and I didn't like it. I thought this would help me get a better workout, but it just seemed to slow me down. I performed worse in my games, and didn't even really break much of a sweat.
Are there any other methods of increasing my workout through VR?
Are these actually effective in helping me get faster and more powerful. I've seen a video on youtube talking about how u would do drills with the weights on and theoretically you would be faster and more powerful when they are off cos you got used to a heavier leg?
Thoughts about this and any advice on how I can up my speed game?
Hej hej,
I started with beat saber in February and half way through the year I watched a video. Allen Pan's video considering Rock Lee's weights as a training method, to get more agile.
[DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS! IT CAN HARM UR MUSCLES!]
Sooo I bought some wrist weights (1.5kg=3.3lbs) and the heck... after I used them just for an hour, and 10min pause, I was able to beat every of my records. Since then I used them every time. one hour with weights, one hour without. I think it's an awesome training, not for sheer strength, but for endurance and agilty.
[EDIT: the weights of my "wrist weights" sit on the forearm, and the wrist is supported by a wristband, I know now that most wrist weights have their weights sitting right on the wrist joint, which is pretty harmful.]
Does someone else has made his own experience with weights, or other weird ideas?Like, using a CountDooku-stlye handle for the sabers for the different angle...
iβve been scammed ://
In bouts I sometimes drop my arm, because it is more comfortable and I am in a position where I am not planing to attack. If I have to defend my arm is up quickly, with no problem.
But lately I am concerned this "style" is due to me, having not enough strength in my arm/shoulder?
So I was thinking about practicing with a wrist weight. Does anybody have experience with that, or knows if this is a good training method? I am strangely afraid of trading strength for speed, training like that.
(sry for bad English)
