A list of puns related to "Wheel Hub Assembly"
I need new wheel hub bearings and I see two options on Z1 with a significant price difference between them.
This one says OEM and it's $100 more than this one which says "OEM quality". Is the NVA one good enough for this sort of thing? I know Z1 has a huge markup sometimes and I don't want to pay $100 more per side if I don't have to.
TIA
I would like to swap out to a completely new bearing/hub on the rear wheels. The stocks ones are old and look bad and are starting to go bad.
I donβt really want to buy a new bearing and hub and have to find someone to press them together for me.
I noticed you can order an assembly of the bearing and hub together. Could I do that?
What size would I have to get if there are sizes?
I replaced the LR wheel hub and bearing assembly on my 05 about a month ago. Everything was fine for about a week, when I started to feel a general vibration at high speeds under load. A few days later I couldn't go 30 mph without getting an intense shudder from under the car (no steering wheel shakes though). If I let off the gas, the shakes went away.
I got a new axle because during the hub replacement it had slipped out and hit the floor, so I thought maybe it got damaged. I replaced that and everything was fine for a few days and the shuddering gradually came back. Since then I have checked engine and transmission mounts, re checked torque 9n all the bolts, and checked the driveshaft. Nothing else seems to be causing trouble. What confuses me most is how any time I work on it, it is temporarily better and then starts going downhill after a few miles.Any thoughts at all?
i love the kit i recieved, but i have out grown the included 7 speed gear set that i threaded onto the hub motor. i think its smallest tooth is maybe 14 teeth.
i have been looking around and it appears there are two types of gear sets, one is called "freewheel" and the other is called a cassette. i tore into a couple of my bikes thinking i could swap things over, but found i have the wrong parts.
so i have been looking for a 8 speed "free wheel" online and even the people selling these things dont seem to know there is a difference, or i am just confused, also, i would like the smallest gear to be 11 teeth or less
i need the type that threads on, not the type that stacked the gears onto a splinned shaft.
can anyone help point me in the right direction? cant believe i have to ask something so basic as i have been biking for decades and never had to deal with the gears much other shifters etc etc.
The price differences seem to be high. Price for one is $50 somewhere and fcp euro has it for $100
Hi guys I found an Armored Vehicle the tires were shot I was able to find 17β tires and hub assembly I tried to install them after removing the heavy hubs. There is no installation option to put any new hubs back on, not even the old ones. Any ideas?
Are Subaru's Hub Assemblies serviceable? I'm planning to repack my wheel bearings in front. It's a 2008 Impreza btw. TIA
Iβm looking to replace my rear wheel hub assembly on my 1999 Miata. The car does have ABS but I canβt for the love of god find a rear assembly with an ABS sensor. So I am wondering if it is possible to buy and run an assembly without the sensor without causing any trouble?
Edit - My questions were answered. Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
So, I need to replace a wheel bearing, and was wondering if the hub assembly is supposed to be replaced at the same time?
Also, I'm taking the steering knuckle into a shop to do the actual replacement. In general, do shops expect or care if I bring in the replacement parts, or will they use their own?
I obviously plan on asking the shop this, but was just wondering what was standard practice in general. I figured they'd have to order the parts, and since I'm just bringing in the steering knuckle for a quick replacement, it would make sense if I brought my own replacement parts.
Has anyone tried to get new wheel hub assemblies for the front? I know that Rock Auto only sells the rear. Would the Ford Focus or Hyundai Elantra parts fit?
So I'm looking at the Wheel Hub and Bearing assemblies as an alternative to heavy pressing the bearings. If that's true I was going to get the highest quality ones Rock Auto sells. To me this sounds to good to be true.
I'm looking at the centric brand because their item description said there hub are made to exact OEM specs
The assemblies I'm looking at are Centric brand
I have a question about ABS too, on Rock Auto the front wheel hub assemblies weren't listed with ABS capabilities. Am I to just assume they are or is ABS a Rear thing, which it can't be since there are ABS sensors on the front axle hub?
Would the parts below be appropriate? Should I consider using with ACDelco brand for the 2 year warranty or trust Centrics durability past its 90 days and hopefully at least 2 years?
I know price varies by location but wondering if this is super high even for a Subaru dealership. Appreciate any feedback. The bearing just started to make some noise recently.
Update: talked to an independent mechanic that will charge $580. That seems more in the ballpark so Iβm going with that.
I have an 03 non supercharged and noticed that my front wheel bearing is starting too go. I can find the bearing but not the hub assembly but I can't find how too replace just the bearing anywhere. Do any of you know a video on how too replace the front wheel bearing since they don't make a hub assembly that isn't a dealer part
I asked my brother to take a look at my 2010 Scion tC that I just bought, as there was a sound coming from the wheel that gets louder the faster the car is moving. He told me I needed a new front wheel bearing, but to buy a wheel hub assembly.
I couldn't find a wheel hub assembly anywhere, so I was planning on asking him about it the next time he visited. In the meantime, I called repair shops about a "hub assembly replacement". The place I called said that the car didn't have hubs - it has bearings, it's a separate bearing that has to be pressed in. I apologized for my ignorance and got my quote (though it was never mentioned if my quote was for parts & labor or just labor costs).
So, I'm trying to find the part that I need right now and I need some help. I'm pretty sure this (link below) is what I need, but I wanted to double check with someone who actually knows what they're talking about before I order it. Any input would be appreciated!

EDIT: Just wanted to clarify - the bearing that I linked above fits my car, I just wanted to double check that this is what I actually need and that I don't need an entire hub assembly or something different.
Where are they ... ive been searching online all i can find are rear or just the bearing or just the hub..... like im sooo lost they have to exist
Anybody got a part number or link
Please help thanks!
