A list of puns related to "Wendell"
Any opinions welcome.
>highly recommend these after seeing 3 rims out there
Context:
> LeBron James knocked down a fadeaway, shot-clock-beating game-winning 3-pointer against Curry's Warriors on Wednesday, relegating Golden State to a do-or-die play-in game with the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. > > "After [Draymond Green's] finger to the eye, I was literally seeing three rims out there," James told ESPN's Rachel Nichols following LA's 103-100 win, referring to Green's hard foul earlier in the fourth quarter. > > "I just shot for the middle one."
Magic Twitter probably one of the best lol

His leg gave out when he tried to push off his planted leg (vid below)
You can see a ripple in his calf, so thereβs a chance itβs more than just a knee injury

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my childrenβs lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.
As far as I understand, those 4 were in a pregame alliance. Chosing Yul brought possibility w/ many Dakal members, especially through Sophie. Chosing Michele probably only brought Jeremy, because I don't think Michele was exactly close w/ other Sele members.
As an Orlando Magic fan having the 32nd and 38th picks these are some wings who I am really interested in. I really like Wendell Moore and feel like he would be a solid wing for us. I also like Max Christie shooting form and upside.
First he loses his scholarship, but then luckily the others offer βanonymouslyβ to fund his scholarship. They give him bone cancer, luckily he goes into remission. Then in the end Bones tells him she doesnβt think his lifeβs work is his true passionβ¦β¦
edit: to correct type of cancer
Can people help me understand Wendell Moore Jr? Most mock drafts/big boards I see have him in the 25-35 range. What am I missing?
There isnβt much that he isnβt good at. Heβs fairly athletic, a smart player, a good ball handler, an efficient scorer, a good passer, and a good defender.
Is it just his age? Are his first two seasons just too much of a red flag?
Iβm curious what it is that causes him to drop on peopleβs lists.
Thanks for the help!
If you are in the vicinity of the new Wake Tech campus site in Wendell, adjacent to Rolesville Rd, Hwy 64/I-87, or Business 64, around 2-3 pm, you may hear some bangs, booms, thumps, pows, and/or pops. Might be some traffic in the area around this time due to this, not sure.
Because I think everyone needs to read more Wendell Berry immediately.
"You can best serve civilization by being against what usually passes for it."
"I believe that the community - in the fullest sense: a place and all its creatures - is the smallest unit of health and that to speak of the health of an isolated individual is a contradiction in terms.β
"Battle with unconditioned breath the unconditioned air. Shun electric wire. Communicate slowly. Live a three-dimensional life; stay away from screens. "
"The paramount doctrine of the economic and technological euphoria of recent decades has been that everything depends on innovation. It was understood as desirable, and even necessary, that we should go on and on from one technological innovation to the next, which would cause the economy to "grow" and make everything better and better. This of course implied at every point a hatred of the past, of all things inherited and free. All things superceded in our progress of innovations, whatever their value might have been, were discounted as of no value at all."
The way big agricultural has just destroyed everything we hold dear. Anyway, it was written in 1977 and all of the stuff Berry was worried about has gotten worse, it feels like. Monocultures. Corn subsidies. Farm bills. John Deere has made driverless tractors. We are no longer people of the land. The oligarchs are the Jetsons and we live below them in the smog.
Can anyone recommend a spiritual successor to this book, something more recent. Its 45 years old this book. (Thereβs even a chapter about public radio dying π)
Made with the /r/CFB Recruiting Post Generator
I just finished my first watch of Ghost Island, so I've been looking to try and figure out what the consensus is about his GI game when compared with other winning games. But most posts and comments are evaluating him compared to Domenick, which is of course completely fair considering how GI played out.
How does his winning game compare to other winning games in your opinion? I stuck him at just about middle of the road when it comes to the ones I've seen (#17 out of 30) when I added him to my ranking, but I'm not sure how I feel about that and might change it next time I rank through them.
