A list of puns related to "Virtual Visitation"
My company did the switch to virtual for all of our referrals. Iβm actually getting pushback from DCS as they work from home. I have a few face to face appointments to make sure my clients are all set up with the tech but I fully accept this is the safer way to serve our clients. This will definitely affect my hours, but I accept that to keep my families safer. I was explaining it to a new staff with a little tree diagram to explain how getting infected myself would potentially spread the disease to 10 different families as I go along my schedule, not to mention how many others I could expose in passing at gas stations, our office, and other visitation spaces. Exponential growth is a scary thing to put down on paper. Our IT dept is vetting like six different video chat apps to make sure they are HIPPA compliant. Iβm actually excited to stretch my parents in their verbal communication and engagement skills when they canβt rely on a distraction of toys or videos to fill the visit time if they arenβt engaging. Iβm looking to try Houseparty with the older kids and Caribou for the younger ones. What are your experiences with virtual visitation and any tips or tricks?
Background: 3.5 year old child, one parent in military (Parent A) and the other retained physical custody in temporary parenting plan (Parent B). Temporary parenting plan states that Parent B is to facilitate virtual visitation for Parent B daily during custody proceedings. Proceedings have been ongoing for over two years.
Hi all, just posting to get some perspective on what is going on with me (Parent A). My ex-spouse left me and took our child while I was in a training school for the military, and filed for divorce in that state. Jurisdiction has taken a very long time for the courts to decide on, since our state of residence was different than the state Parent B filed for divorce/custody in. Parent B was granted physical custody temporarily and I was to have daily interaction with our child via Skype. These have never gone well as my child was initially too young to interact, and Parent B was unwilling to negotiate the time, sets the Skype time to bedtime, and has grandparents facilitate these calls. Regardless of these issues, I have called to see our child every single day since the plan was established. Even though I am ignored, hung up on, muted, and frequently talked about by Parent B's family while on the phone, I have not missed a single call or over two years. I have FaceTimed while deployed, Skyped from vacations, everything I could. I've recorded the majority of these, to hopefully use as some kind of proof. With our trial date finally happening next month, it has gotten much worse.
The worst new development is that Parent B has started answering my Skype calls while driving with our child and holding the phone so I can see a dark silhouette of my kid, and nothing else. Parent B drops the phone and fishes for it, refuses to call after reaching the destination, and is clearly driving while distracted. In Ohio, there are no texting while driving laws that cover this, but Parent B is clearly putting the safety of our child at risk. I have told my lawyer, but I feel helpless.
I am taking leave to undergo a parenting investigation in the next few weeks, and my lawyer seems positive that it will bring to light parental alienation, but he always seems sure and nothing seems to happen. I suppose I am also just looking for some hope here, but I was hoping someone here would be able to tell me if a parental investigation would be able to prove parental alienation? Is there any positive that can come from all of this? Or are there some guidelines f
... keep reading on reddit β‘I have two kids in Nevada, and a poor relationship with their mother and her family. She is volatile, and often withholds access for punitive or retaliatory reasons. As a matter of fact, I've had barely access over the past several years because it is a given that she will be upset at me over something - right now it is because she tried to extort money from me, for herself, in return for access.
On occasions where she did grant access, it was through her family members, but they have tired of the back-and-forth-on-and-off spats, and have disengaged themselves from the matter. Both they and my estranged wife insist that they shouldn't have to bridge contact because my kids have their own iPads, who are free to contact me by themselves.
This is a ridiculous line to take, because of the young age of the children (six and nine). They literally expect a six year old to schedule a Skype call on their own initiative. Would this argument stand up if I sued for formal virtual visitation arrangements? Could a court compel them to bridge access?
Hey Guys!
I've been invited to a virtual visit to a university, I had an interview 2-3 weeks ago and the mail just says that they have completed the first round of the review proccess and that they would like to invite me to learn more about their program and meet professors and grad students. Since, I dont have a clue about this, I would like to know more on what these visits are, what generally happens in these visits and whether I should treat it like an interview. I would also like to know how many applicants on an average would get invited to such visits.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance
I don't recall that it did particularly well or lasted very long at all, but I thought I'd look it up. Maybe there's an emulator out there, or somebody's archived it/some content from it or something. As far as I recall, the name of the browser was two words, the second of which I'm pretty sure was "Worlds."
Literally on the tip of my tongue, but "Worlds" is a common enough word that Googling doesn't really seem to help.
A week ago I got my first response and it was an invitation! I am super excited, and thank you very much for all the sharings through this application cycle. It's a great feeling and I hope everyone gets their positive responses soon!
Now I have 2 questions:
It's UNC Psychology and Neuroscience PhD btw
I deeply miss visiting my old local temple where I would partake in 1hr long loving kindness meditations.
Are there any resources online - perhaps YouTube - that has guided meditations or anything similar to help me practice?
Thanks in advance
That's all I can remember! Trying to recall the name of this movie!
Hi, I'm wondering how professionals animate cameras for indoor archviz (typically a virtual visit of an apartment). Do you draw a bezier curve and use a follow path constraint? And then manually rotate camera? Doing this method seems so outdated, making any change to the path will destroy all the keyframes work, and overall it's difficult to switch between "follow curve" and manual rotation. I'm certain there is a better way, but what is it? I'm looking to get a smooth movement, non-destructive animation, and maximum control.

So I went with my son down to the underground T-baguette (I just made that up FYI) Central Station. I was bright as a fxckin 1000-watt light bulb, and he was so embarrassed, except he didnβt realize that Iβd been there before? I didnβt realize I had been there before!? Something about I had won some huge βrat raceβ challenge thing or some shit. Idk, I could probably fill in details to round the story out... but... lifetime access? Idek.
Man, I know it was a obvious delusion, but has anyone else had any experiences similar to this?? Itβs like always a carnival/amusement park setup. Then literally like a virtual world layout. SAO comes to mind... just curious... hopefully everyone else is sleep π΄. I should be. Whoops.
#HoldingOutForAHero oh wait, thatβs me?? βBeing a hero for dummiesβ
