PSA: South Australia is a smaller state than Victoria or NSW, scaling for our size, we need 558 to hit Victoria's peak, and 663 to hit NSW's cases from today.

348 is the scaled peak from the Delta wave for NSW, but they've smashed that now.

We're in real trouble having already hit 113 154 so far. We have a doubling time of about 2.6 2.4 days, and at current pace we'll smash even NSW's total from today in the next 6-7 5-6 days.

We're fucked, and our failed Premier is just pretending it's all fine. On past trends, hospitalisations should start spiking in the next 5-10 days too.

I hope everyone has a good Christmas and New Years eve.

Edit: Early reports were wrong, it's actually 154 cases. Numbers changed above as a result. We're in deep shit, and they keep trying to pretend we're not. What is the end game here?

Double Edit: We're on track for 1000 by the 27th, and 2500 by New Year. That's 4600 and 12k by the NSW comparison. They are downplaying the rate this is spreading at, and we have the superspreader even of the year coming up in Christmas, and the runner up in the day-night test just finished.

I'm very curious to see what the plan is here. I suspect they're trying to delay panic until after Christmas.
