I've been on Zoloft for almost 2 years and the packaging has always displayed the Pfizer logo. Now on my latest package the Pfizer logo has been replaced by an Upjohn logo. Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm pretty sure Upjohn is a subsidiary brand of Pfizer, so I'm not terribly worried. However, I'm curious why they made this decision.. is it because the patent for Zoloft has run out? Or do they want to avoid people associating it with the covid vaccine?

Viatris ($VTRS) : IMHO this 3pct div blue chip Pfizer pharma spinoff of Upjohn merged into Mylan Labs has bottomed and is starting a gradual rise to a target of $18 within18 months. It is selling UNDER book value and the price will rise as they pay off debt and reduce costs as they consolidate /optimize the manufacturing facilities of the two companies. They have also committed to use some of the increased cash flow into increasing dividends.

IMHO this stock could double in 2 years from current price around $14.25

Can anyone clarify the implications this has related to Pfizer’s stock? I have noted that Pfizer has been fairly flat over the last number of years and this includes even recently with their first mover and high efficacy vaccine for COVID 19. I can’t seem to figure out why this is the case. I have seen some articles about them spinning off Upjohn and this will be detrimental once it’s finalized fully and I think I also read somewhere that this may decrease the PFE dividend? Can anyone speak more intelligently on this? I can’t seems to figure out why Pfizer wouldn’t be significantly higher unless Upjohn is playing g a role or if people are worried about an intellectual property rights waiver from Biden for the Covid vaccine?

Just got email from my broker that Pfizer’s subsidiary Upjohn is merging into Mylan and my current PFE options will convert into non standard option which will have underlying of 100 PFE share and 12 VTRS(new ticker for merged company) share.

Are we holding through this or no?
