A list of puns related to "Trailside"
Hypothetical situation...
Having run tubeless all season I get a tear and need to do a trailside repair with the inner tube I was carrying.
Before putting the tube in I give the tyre a check for thorns etc on the inside but...
What are the chances you miss something and the tube just punctures as soon as you inflate it?
Is that just a risk you have to take, and check the tyre really well or am I missing an MTB trick?
Hi everyone! Iβm currently looking for my first house and the market is crazy. Came across a builder with tax-abated properties in Circle North and Trailside Slavic Village. While the first one is quite scattered and looks overpriced, the Slavic Village seems like a nice and quiet development. Question is, how well will it keep its value in the coming years. Anybody from that area to help understand?
If you're looking for a 3 bedroom downtown, my wife and I closed early on our home. If you're interested we can work something out where you can move in anytime you want after Feb and take over our lease.
Edit - We pay $2280 ($30 is pets, $30 is trash, about another $30-$40 is the water and sewer. The remaining is the actual rent)
Is Trailside really that bad? my friends and I wanted to get an apartment there next year, however, I saw a lot of complains about that place. Can anyone add on that and give me more information? Is it not worth it?
Hey Heavy Music Fans.
My band, Crotalus, along with Human Paint and Insipidus will be opening for the mighty Skeletal Remains this Friday 11/12 at Trailside Saloon in Thornton. Doors at 6:30, first band at 7. Big band, small club. Don't sleep on this one.
Howdy all, first a little about me. Firefighter/EMT for 5-6 years now, ski patrol for 3, and been on and off in search and rescue for the last decade . Been mountain biking/climbing/kayaking/backcountry skiing etc for a long time. I've seen a fair bit of trailside first aid, and most of it with positive outcomes but room for plenty of improvement as well.
In this post I will talk about what you as an untrained bystander can do in different situations to improve pt (patient) outcomes, and later what I carry in my 1st aid kit, what you should carry in yours, and why. I will try not to get to into the weeds with EMT and higher level medical care or war stories.
Let's look at the most likely scenario: you're out riding, round the corner and see someone who's wrecked their bike. the absolute first thing is scene safety, no matter what. What this should look like is either putting your bike in the trail before the corner, or having another bystander direct traffic so you don't get smoked by an Enduro-bro coming around a blind corner.
Odds are good you will freeze up and your mind will go blank for a bit. That's normal. Take a deep breathe, put your nitrile gloves on (people are gross, dude!) and look around. You will likely have to exercise some critical thinking skills here, and if your patient can't wait an extra 30 seconds to recieve medical care the odds are good they are not going to make it no matter what you do. So rushing won't help anything.
Now that our scene is safe and we have gloves on, let's look at the pt and generally see what we think. Do they look like shit? Is their bike mangled? Obviously first we're checking for any life threats, are they breathing or is there life threatening bleeding? These will probably not happen on the trail though. Odds are good they just have a little roadrash, no big deal. HOWEVER people are horrible judges of their own condition! if it seems like they had a serious crash do not leave them. Even if they swear up and down they're fine, this is one of the few times it's OK to lie to a pt. "Hey I'm sure you're totally fine but we need a water break anyway so we're just gonna hang out here for a few mins." is my go-to line. Now is a great time to ask if they're with anyine else or by themselves.
They will probably be dazed for a bit, that's normal. On the flip side, any true confusion/altered mental status is worth calling 911 for. It isn't immediately life threatening but does merit a medical exam for
... keep reading on reddit β‘I have a 2007 klr, and I have tube tires, my biggest question is for flat tires, bc I ride my bike the ~20 miles to the trailhead, and I donβt want to have a flat tire on the trail and be stranded.
Do yβall have a center stand and use that? Bc thatβs the only real trailside thing I can think of.

Hereβs the link to join the disc for people moving in to the Trailside apartments! Move in day is coming up soon. Iβll repost it in the next coming weeks too.
The clutch suddenly went limp on a hill climb and wouldn't fully disengage. The oil pressure light came on a couple of minutes later. I'm getting maybe 25% power due to the clutch slipping and only when the clutch lever was all the way out. When I'm not giving any gas, and the clutch lever is all the way out, the clutch drags and the bike won't stall.
I thought maybe the clutch fluid got some air but the problem persists after changing it.
Nothing weird seems to be going on with the slave. I've changed it from stock to the Rekluse.
I'm thinking I just wore out the clutch plates or something happened to the springs. With the tall 1st gear, I'm feathering constantly on tighter trails.
But the oil pressure light and how suddenly this happened has me a bit worried.
I'll also note that I was able to ride the bike home, around 3 hours away, the next day, with a top speed of around 50mph at 6th gear.
Any thoughts on the issue would be greatly appreciated - thanks!
Here's a pic from my sad ( but eventual ) return home.
Hey guys, sorry if not allowed here, I think itβs ok? Anyways, I have a few apartment complexes I am looking at and Iβd like to know if anyone has any input on if I should stay away from any or if you had any good experiences at any of these places:
-The park at Napoli
-Calibre Bend
-Tivoli
-Trailside Gardens
Iβve heard that Tivoliβs internet is pretty bad which really worries me. Mostly concerned about safety/ no bugs!! Thank you for any input!
Hello, I am an incoming ph.d student (female) in management.
I am interested in taking a lease together at Trailside gardens at Alafaya.
we can move in 8/7 and if we set 13 months the lease term, it costs 992.5 each.
I guess that 13 months lease term ( Sep. 6, 2022) seems good, since most of the properties in Orlando have move-in dates in August.
please message me if you are interested! Thank you. :)
The following list is for those who may not be aware of the amount of Zynchronicity the Trailside Killer has with the Zodiac. Anyone looking for more information on this suspect - The Sleeping Lady by Robert Graysmith is the main resource.
Andrade. Lois Andrade was attacked by David Carpenter in 1960. He lured her into a car and led her to the Presidio. He attacked her with a hammer. A Military Policeman heard her screams and opened fire on Carpenter. Carpenter had a pen style gas gun hidden in his car and fired back at the policeman. This weapon fired 22. bullets. Carpenter was shot several times, including the leg. Lois Andrade worked for an advertising company and her Father was International Printing Pressmen and Assistant's Union of North America. Having been shot by a policeman (cops shoot back) and losing his family (His first wife filed for divorce almost immediately), Carpenter had a strong motive to act out in defiance against LE and target the press.
Belli Hoax Call. During the Trailside murders someone called a local police station, stating they were sick/unwell and to set up a meeting, in which they did not turn up to. Similar to the Belli call.
Circe. David Carpenter's daughter Circe was born shortly before he was arrested in 1960. He had a high sex drive and began to stalk the streets at this time in his car. In Museum Piece, the Alfred Hitchcock short story, it describes a way of attaching a gun sight to shoot in the dark. The Zodiac wrote something highly similar in one of his letters. Earlier, the dialogue contains the words, Circe led him to his doom. Circe is a name from Greek Mythology. There are some indications the Zodiac was inspired by the ancient world.
Der Fuhrer letter. This typed letter is a possible Zodiac correspondence. At the end of the letter, the writer includes a stutter in the last line. David Carpenter is known to have a stutter.
Eyeglasses. During one Trailside attack, David Carpenter left behind his glasses, with the hope of tricking authorities and setting up an alibi. Gloves were left behind in the Stine Cab, and at the possible Zodiac murder in Riverside a wristwatch was left behind.
Fouke's Description. The Trailside Killer is often shown as bald in his main picture, however earlier pictures show him with hair. He has reddish brown hair. He is the right height, he was late 30's, early 40's. He been shot to the leg previously. Earlier pictures show him with a dark quiff.
Grey Box Letter. The Tuckers ha
