A list of puns related to "Tpg"
So we had someone come and do some electrical work on our apartment today which obviously meant they had to turn the power off.
Once they were all done, switched everything back on and waiting for the router to get its shit together (which usually takes 5 minutes). Anyway, this time it decided it did not want to get said shit together and just had the DSL light flashing a few times and then going away.
Alright... this has happened before, usually what it requires is a hard-reset of the modem for... fuck knows what reason... and having the VDSL details reconfigured. So off I go, do all the shit, plug it back in, turn it on... fuck... still no DSL.
Well... I've power-cycled the modem, hard-reset it, reconfigured our DSL service... I figure at this point I'm justified in calling Technical Support.
TPG: "Ring Ring..... ring ring.... Hi, thanks for calling TPG technical support. We regret to inform you that we're unable to respond to your request immediately...."
Me: "Yeah yeah... there's going to be a long-ass wait, I get it, get on with it."
TPG: For troubleshooting your connection, we recommend you try testing your connection via our new MyTPG App. Thank you... Please call back later.... ** click..... beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep **
Hang on.... what? That's not even the diplomatic way of saying "Sorry, we can't be fucked even talking to you right now unless you want to pay us more money... please fuck off".
So I call back again, thinking it must have been some kind of error - it's only 3:30 in the afternoon, it's not like I'm calling in the middle of the night. And besides, it's not like I'm on NBN where TPG doesn't have much ability to fix shit, I'm literally on TPG's dedicated fibre-to-the-building service.
"Ring ring..... ring ring..... Yeah, nah mate.... better fuck off and use the App aye?" - Seriously... they might as well have said that.
Oh and before anyone asks... yes I tried their stupid fucking app... it told me I "Didn't have an internet connection"... YEAH, NO FUCKING SHIT!
We just got a new provider in our building that offers 1 gb/s FTTB for like $150 a month... I'm so looking forward to telling TPG to shove their app firmly up their asses.

The impression I get is that I'll have to pay this fine, but: I recently got on a Geneva tram for a quick ~8 min journey (normally a 1.80 CHF ticket with the half-pass), and I used EasyRide on the SBB app. I remember when EasyRide was first introduced, and it explained you swipe "as you board the tram or train", which is what I do habitually. However because of the mask mandate I have to key in my phone pin, open the app and then swipe, so usually it's shortly after the doors close that I have the ticket active.
Unfortunately for the first time the other day there were ticket inspectors who scanned my EasyRide ticket seconds after I got it (and seconds after the doors closed), so I was given an on-the-spot fine of 90 CHF (I refused to pay at the time, this went up to 130 CHF, but on phoning TPG they put it back down to 90 CHF and gave me a month to pay it). It seems like a crippling amount to pay on a 1.80 CHF ticket (and especially as I did have a ticket that'd be the same flat price regardless of where I got on between my start and end points).
My question is: can I appeal this? It seems like EasyRide is a trap unless you get the ticket in advance (which means I pay more if the tram takes more than 10 mins - and especially recently a lot of trams have been cancelled or stopped abruptly at a stop well before my intended destination). I have used the trains a lot in Switzerland as well, so on my account there's a record of having spent a lot on SBB tickets around Switzerland (i.e. I reliably pay for tickets), but the person I phoned wasn't interested in this fact.
Thanks in advance!

Poole's First 15 Games: 16 PPG, 3 RPG, 3 APG, 1 SPG, 2 TPG on 54% TS%.
Poole's Last 10 Games: 20 PPG, 4 RPG, 4 APG, 1 SPG, 2 TPG on 65% TS%.
Wow. 4 PPG more, 1 RPG more, 1 APG more while not increasing turnovers, on 10% BETTER TRUE SHOOTING!
I told yall, give Poole some time. He's adjusting and shaking out of the slump. In case you don't want TS%, he was shooting 42.6% from the field and 28.6% from 3 in his first 15 games, and is shooting 48.2% from the field and 43.2% from 3 in his last 10 games.
Also, he's shooting by far the most shots from 0-3 feet he has in his career and at an utterly ridiculous, astonishing and incredible 77.2%.

Destiny 2 players in Australia (including myself) are experiencing frequent disconnections from activities, with error codes includingΒ CURRANT, CABBAGE andΒ RABBIT.
This issue seems to be limited to players with a TPG-owned internet service provider, including Internode, iiNet and TPG themselves. Players reported this starting from the evening of Thursday 14 October 2021.
Players are kicked to orbit from nearly all activities and destinations, including Strikes/Nightfall , Raids, destinations (including Tower), Festival of the Lost activities , Crucible and Gambit.Β The last two are also incurring player penalties including bans for "leaving the activity", through no fault of the player.
Troubleshooting following the help articles doesn't appear to fix the issue, and the internet connection isn't affected in any other way or any other game/MMO.
Players have reported that a VPN to anywhere outside Australia works in many cases, but this isn't a permanent solution. Some players have reported the issue may be packet loss, using tools such as Packet Loss Test, but others report no issues.
Contact with ISPs by many users has resulted in responses to the effect of 'there is nothing wrong with your connection on your end or our end, please contact Bungie for assistance.
If you're experiencing issues, feel free to comment here. I've also made a forum post here for better visibility.
The Points Guy has a post today about how you can earn 60,000 points for the CSP (the SUB if you apply online). No where in the article does it mention the fact that if one were to go into a Chase branch, they could get 100,000 points and the $95 annual fee waived the first year. This is par for the course for this site, and exactly why people who know have a very unfavorable opinion of them: they'd rather get their affiliate bonus than for you to get an extra 40k and save $95 (easily worth $595).
Update: The 100k in-branch offer ended 11/13/21. It's now 60k + $95 AF waived.
