Stage 4 - TP53, APC & PIk3CA mutations stable if not shrunk by Capox

I have one liver met that went from 2.5cm to 1.8cm with Capecitabine & Oxiaplatin. Although we know my molecular profile now, we didn’t earlier.

It’s good news. Once I get local treatment we can hit the micromets with two additional targeted therapies to really kill those suckers.

I thought I would share for anyone looking for evidence that chemo works. In those pre-scan days it is important to see posts about treatment actually doing what treatment is supposed to do.

Anyone ever seen KRAS, TP53, SMAD4, CDKN2A all wild type PDAC patient?

my father does not have any mutations in the most commonly mutated genes KRAS, TP53, SMAD4, and CDKN2A. This must be incredibly rare, and I was wondering if anyone has seen such a patient.

del17p tp53

I have recently learned that my mother in laws MM is with these mutations. She has been not responding well to Cytoxan.

She is schedule to under go a STC in 2 weeks. The plan is to do this first on then a second 3 months later due to the genetic factor.

Looking for positive outcomes of anyone with the same form of MM.
