I just want to talk to him. I've seen this garbage in three of my games now. Teemo builds bloodthirster first then BotRK. I'm so sick of seeing this because the first two times they fed and lost for us and the last time he just got carried. I already hated when I saw Teemo on my team, now they're just building him into a bad ADC with an almost worthless ult. I've never banned my teammates picks, but damn I'm thinking about starting.
Why bother when you're constantly up against unkillable tanks or spam murderers like Yone? You can entirely outplay them for 10 minutes, but if they land one single spell, they kill you. You kill them first, they just come back with half an item and kill you. The lane feels totally garbage.
Whenever Iโve had a Teemo baron laner instead of a tank or a fighter, I always lose. Is Teemo pretty much a troll pick? This is in diamond/master games btw where people actually know how to play against him. What possesses people to play this useless rat?
We can all agree that the optimal way to play teemo is to get the minimum ult cooldown possible in order to spam shrooms (Except in URF 12 shroom limit๐คข๐คฎ).
This is why Teemo's winrate plummeted in 2022 preseason (BestLoLStats.com/Teemo) when the cloud drake buff was changed to grant movement speed instead of ultimate ability haste in patch 11.23.
Now I know what you're thinking. How did his winrate plummet when this is the same patch when Axiom Arc was released? This item is peak ult cooldown reduction. It's the dream. It seems almost too good to be true.
It is too good to be true, because Teemo has 2 ult cooldowns. one for casting the ability (0.25s), and one for the recharge (30/25/20s).
Axiom arc only refunds the casting cooldown, so you'd be lucky to ever proc Axiom arc while the casting cooldown is counting down.
I propose that Axiom Arc should also effect the refund timer on Teemo's R in order to bring him to a playable state in the current meta. It won't be OP because it gives lethality which is dogshit on Teemo.
Now I know what you're thinking: "OP, that would be so OP in ARAM wtf is wrong with you?" and to that I say stfu don't knock it till you try it let's see what happens first, plus you're paying 3k gold for 25 AH and a passive so it's probably trash anyway leave me alone.
I said it. Since I got the emote from watching Worlds, I can't stop using it and will probably never stop.

It's definitely a top tier emote that I recommend everyone to start using because it is hilarious and I thank Riot with all my heart for creating it. That's the whole post.
So Riot just announced that they will be changing Teemo's shrooms and as a result they changed everything from his emotes to splash and so on. So why can't the same logic be applied to Kindred? There obviously isn't an issue with changing stuff on a skin so late, so why not appease the community and change the Kindred skin as well.
I'm seeing Teemo banned more and more so I was curious what other people play when this happens. Also do you think his ban rate will change much in season 12?
I personally liked the older concept better and would have rather had that, why did they change it? I personally think the rounder shrooms are more appealing. What are your guys' thoughts on it?

So I will suck at this game but not many champs irritate me laning against quite as much as Morgana and Teemo do.
Usually anytime I get Morgana I'm playing Ahri and I feel I can't get close to her without her spamming that area of effect thing. Then she has that shield/barrier which annoys me. I feel I could take her down with my Annie but with AhrivI can never seem to land my charms on her for some reason
Then Teemo....do I need to explain? He's a chaotic devil rat that runs around and kills you before you know what's happening then if you do somehow escape his bombs or poison damage takes you out....
I need help...just general advice I guess around how to deal with these two...maybe Tryndamere to? He's annoying to top lane against too sometimes
In PC, Teemo's Toxic Shot's on hit passive has an AP ratio of 30% and the DoT (damage over time) AP ratio is 40%. In Wild Rift this is reduced to 0 for the on hit and 7.5% for the DoT according to the wiki and in game details. Clearly this is a massive nerf to his Toxic Shot and I fail to see why this is necessary. Below, I counter possible reasons why.
There are less warding options which makes Teemo's mushroom have less counterplay: the mushrooms themselves have been made to have more counterplay as the DoT component only works if the opponent is in the pool. It's not very hard to walk out of it.
He has higher AP ratios on his other abilities: Teemo rarely lands his full ult onto an enemy as they almost always walk out before the full 3 seconds. His blind dart has a +20% AP ratio, but this doesn't not make up for the -62.5% AP ratio on his autoattacks. Teemo often autoattacks after pressing Q.
PC and WR don't have to be the same: I don't want them to be the same, I want WR to be balanced. It makes no sense that the top teemo player build is an ADC build when his only incentive is an attack speed steroid on like a 21 second cooldown. Why not just play Tristana or Kaisa at that point.
He has a dash and on command attack speed steroid: His dash has a tiny range and can't really be used to escape engages like Darius hook. As for on command attack speed steroid, let's say he gets an extra 5 autoattacks in a trade that he normally wouldn't get vs. PC Teemo. The AP ratio is on his DoT. If we assume 1.00 attack speed, he is getting an extra 8 seconds of DoT which amounts to 15% AP. This is still - 47.5% AP ratio compared to PC.
Overall I think Teemo needs an AP ratio for the on hit portion of his passive and increase ratio on his DoT. I think starting at 20% AP for on hit and 30% AP for his DoT would be a great start. Especially since his laning phase is countered by the healing plants too.
Teemo's winrate in NA plat for the past 21 days is ~40%: https://na.wildstats.gg/en/champions/statistics?daysCount=21&tierId=17 For Emerald and above, it's around 40% and is 50% at Master+, probably because they're playing ADC Teemo.
I found this Teemo jungle player, charles_lol1. He shares a document in champ pick, with tips for his teammates, like being squishy and needing to get Nashor's tooth + red smite before ganking.
I tried this insane role. The first match, fail, I ganked too soon and died a lot. The second match was very nice, I made the team follow the tips and we won. In the third match, we lost again.
I want to keep trying and learning this, I like to play Teemo and jungle, but a lot of times I get backlash from the team for a troll cringe pick.

Teemoโs proposed buffs, for those unaware, entirely focus on his blindโreducing its cooldown by 1 second, upping its blind by 0.5 seconds at all ranks, and doubling its middle speed.
This hard buff is following several small nudge buffs to Teemo which have ended up having no effectโunderstandably, Riot wants to try something drastic, since Teemoโs core design right now seems to be preventing any (reasonably sized) damage buffs from actually helping him.
It is also the worst form of buff imaginable for a champโs general health, in my opinionโthat is to say, a buff which entirely exacerbates their ability to bully matchups they already donโt struggle with to the point of farce, while providing absolutely nothing in matchups that they currently lose to.
Teemo does not struggle right now because he doesnโt counter auto attack based champs. Teemo struggles because heโs a kiting based champ with low range and no dash in modern league, and can no longer reliably keep himself safe.
I understand that riot doesnโt seem to have the fundamental kit changes Teemo would need to address these issues directly in mind right nowโindeed, changes to Teemo are difficult to propose to universal satisfaction, as heโs such an iconic champ. With this in mind, though, there are two number changes which I believe would provide equally massive buffs, but in the direction he actually needs: base move speed, or even better, auto attack range.
Teemo is an immobile turret champ with a heavy emphasis on auto attacks even in AP buildsโwhy not give him some of the extra attack range most comparably immobile marksman enjoy?
