A list of puns related to "Tala"
Har bott i Linköping ett par år och har märkt att här och där finns det graffitiklotter med akronymen SOU. Vad står det för?
Sossarnas Omdömeslösa Uppoffringar? Statens Offentliga Utredningar? Satan och Ulla? Gåtan gäckar mig och måste lösas!
Today, Visa announced a new partnership with Tala, a digital financial services provider in emerging markets, the goal of which is to provide easier access to cryptocurrencies for underbanked consumers, beginning with USD Coin (USDC), a stablecoin backed by the U.S. dollar, using the Ethereum blockchain, and governed by the Centre Consortium. The collaboration will also involve Circle, one of Centre’s founding members, and the Stellar Development Foundation that oversees the XLM cryptocurrency.
Through the integration with Circle and Stellar, Tala’s customers will gain access to USDC in Tala’s digital wallet, supporting asset storage, cross-border transfer, and crypto-fiat exchange functionalities. The partnership with Visa will provide Tala with the ability to issue Visa cards linked to the wallet, enabling Tala’s customers to spend against their USDC balance at any of the 70 million merchants worldwide that accept Visa.
Following the growth of stablecoins like USDC, “we’ve been really interested to see how they could have the potential to help consumers in markets where they don’t have great access to financial services,” says Cuy Sheffield, head of crypto at Visa. In December, the credit card giant partnered with Circle to drive USDC integration into Visa’s growing network of digital wallets.
Tala is a suitable partner for the cause. The seven-year-old Santa-Monica-based startup has given over $2 billion in credit to more than 6 million customers across Mexico, the Philippines, Kenya and India. Clients can get microloans, ranging from $10 to $500, through a smartphone app, regardless of their formal credit history. The company has raised more than $200 million from PayPal Ventures, RPS Ventures and GGV Capital, among others.
The primary use case that Tala is hoping to drive with the crypto offering is lowering the cost of remittances for its customers, says Tala’s CEO Shivani Siroya, who founded Tala after studying the impact of

I'm looking for this item or something similar. The drum stick is made out of bamboo and has felt in the middle surrounding all the dowels. This is much quieter than normal root drumsticks and allows for rebound.
Unfortunately it looks like the item linked has been discontinued.
I saw on wikipedia that Abbasids learned how to make paper from Chinese prisoners of war. They eventually taught paper making to Europe, and without paper Europe would look incredibly different.

“I am thrilled to see Tala and Visa forge this partnership to leverage the power of the Stellar network and Circle’s world class USDC stablecoin to empower underbanked populations with fast and affordable financial tools and services,” said Denelle Dixon, SDF’s CEO and Executive Director.
“Digital currencies have tremendous potential to radically open financial access and put more control directly into the hands of underbanked and underestimated people. We couldn’t be more excited that Visa, Circle, and the Stellar Development Foundation share our vision and want to work on a solution, not only for Tala’s 6 million global customers but for the billions more who can benefit,” said Shivani Siroya, Tala’s CEO and Founder and also a board member of Stellar Development Foundation (SDF).

EDIT: With the help of flyers and word of mouth, Tala returned home safe and sound! Thanks to an awesome family in Pittsburgh! Pittsburgh people you are so wholesome!
Tala is still MISSING
Most recent sighting was 5/31 evening at Kentucky and Negley Ave.
Details: Large gray husky with brown eyes and pink collar is missing in shadyside since 5/31 at 6pm. DO NOT CHASE when spotted, note location and contact owner at 9199374178. Please check for hiding spots in shadyside such as backyards, underneath the porch, or bushes. I’m really worried now that she has not eaten for 2 days. Even a sighting would be super useful.
Has anyone bought anything from Tala? I used to follow Grace back in her youtube days but she became less and less relatable to me as she started focusing on her companies/being a Boss Bitch.
I remember checking out Tala's instagram and some of the styles looked cute but there were tons of comments of people's leggings ripping at the gym and not getting their orders. I think they also had new releases super often but would sell out of everything really fast. I haven't heard anything about them recently. Anyone have tea to share?
