A list of puns related to "Tadoussac"
It seems like building a bridge across the river would greatly increase travel and tourism in Northern Quebec. The bridge would have to be approximately 1.5 km in length. The closest crossing is the bridge in downtown Chicoutimi over 100 km to the north. At present the government of Quebec is paying to operate two ferries which provide motorists with round the clock free service to both sides of the river.
What are your thoughts? Would building a Tadoussac bridge be worth it?
EDIT: /u/IdrinkandIknwothings found this study from 1999 https://www.ponttadoussac.ca
Hi there, I am renting a kayak soon that in a few days I can go kayaking on near where the St Lawrence river meets the Saguenay. There are many species of whale and that's what I am going to see. I will not have a drysuit however and was curious about safety.
I have been kayaking a few times and spent lots of times on boats. I am very cautious and not a thrill seeker. If I see or feel big currents, strong wind, rough water conditions, white caps, anything that will indicate the water not being safe, I will not hesitate to go back to shore or just plain not go out.
Some people say it is not safe but I mean there are tour groups that go out from the same area I will be going out from all the time. I participate in many sports and other activities and I am fit.
The information I don't have is tidal information and info about specific currents which I am going to research in the next few days. I could always go farther away from the St Lawrence more westward in the Saguenay but then I decrease my chance of seeing Whales.
I will most likely not have a drysuit though so...?
What are your thoughts?
