A list of puns related to "Spherule"
So I just got a Zenith Anima Spherule. Yay new weapon time! Goggle where the vender is, head there, but now I can see there are multiple item levels available in exchange for this item.
However I can only exchange for the lowest (ilvl 187)
Am I supposed to do something special to be able to exchange for the better items? Or do I get a higher ilvl Zenith Anima Spherule later on by doing more covenant quests?
Just confused if I spend it on a lower item or save it. Thank you in advance βΊοΈ
Okay, this is gonna sound dumb but for the life of me I canβt figure out how to use this thing.
I get how it works. Bring it back to your sanctum for a PVP weapon. Got it. I know where that is, I know who to turn it in to, I just canβt figure out how.
I have the item in my inventory, but whenever I try to purchase one of the weapons, it tells me I donβt have the required item. Who/what am I supposed to turn this into in order for me to get the weapon? I tried googling it and watching a few videos, but people only show you where to turn it in and not how to get the items.
Thank you in advance!
Recently killed Denathrius on Normal and got the weapon token, but I can't turn it into my weapon vendor in my venthyr covenant? It just says that I don't meet the requirments for that item. I am guessing that this is a bug, because I saw people on wowhead complaining about it too.
Last night I took the plunge, Worgen'd Up! and hopped into several Pug Dungeons, I also did a World Boss and somewhere along the way I received the below reward.
Reading it's description
As I chose Venthyr I went to the 2nd level of my Sanctum and checked with all 4 NPC Weapon smiths, but none of them will take my MAS?!? I assume it's as they are all for higher item level spherules.
So my question is...
Is there a NPC I am overlooking that will redeem item level 187 sperules, or do I have to level it up somehow to 197 (which was the lowest level NPC giving weapons), or do I need higher rep with my Covenant (I am currently at Honoured & at Renown lvl 23).
Ok, so I found one of these in my bags and exchanged it for a lovely 187 fist weapon but for the life of me I canβt work out where I got it from.
Everything Iβve read says it only drops from Castle Nathria but the thing is Iβve never been there yet!
Yo
I just had the venerated anima spherule (https://www.wowhead.com/item=183891/venerated-anima-spherule?bonus=6805) drop from Hungering Destroyer so I'm stoked about that. I can't seem to trade it in at my vendor at the venthyr covenant though. To answer your question; yes i'm at the correct vendor (i've even tried them all). This one is from normal and it says I don't have the required items, which I clearly have. I saw one guy having the same issue on wowhead with no way to solve it so I thought I'd ask here as well.
Anyone else who had similar issues?

Yet another bad day for truthers.
Chris just posted this at JREF
Recall that the Jones & Harrit paper which is at the core of the deeply held "nanothermite in the WTC dust" belief has suffered quite a few blows:
Following these truthers are clinging to the Mark Basile's chip ignition videos where the appearance of iron-rich spherules is claimed as evidence of thermite.
After unilaterally claiming that Millette's study is false/flawed/debunked and asking for donations, Mark Basile claims that iron spheres are proof of thermite:
> Dr. Millette had consistently ignored the abundant iron spheres in the WTC dust in his previous studies. But those spheres happen to be the signature residue of the thermitic red/gray chips, and the tell-tale sign of a thermite reaction.
(BTW notice how Mark Basile disallowed the WayBack machine on his web site.. What does he want to hide?)
Like many physical quantities, fire temperatures have a global average from which the local values can deviate. Turns out the local values can deviate substantially, reaching temperatures sufficient to melt iron. Chris Mohr points to figure 4 of this Sandia paper.
In addition, Mohr talked to other scientists who proposed a variety of chemical mechanisms that can lower the melting point of iron or iron compounds.
Of course it had already been noted that simple mechanical friction can produce microspheres as can burning steel wool.
